It's a genuine Madison Continental Clutch, style 4474 probably from around 1995-96. The color looks like Scarlet.

Yes, it's fake. Besides the fake creed, the leather looks like elephant skin, the back pocket is too low down, and on the inside you should see some smooth leather along the seams (I think they were reinforced). There might be grooves on the turnlock but the picture is too fuzzy to tell.
