The city bag appears authentic. The station bag is probably okay. Anytime you see an A factory code, it rings a few alarm bells. All the examples I have of the A factory code in 1995 have the "Made in the United States" at the bottom of the creed and the old wording. I suspect that the bag might have been made in 1996 and the wrong year was dialed in. It is probable that the A factory wasn't really open at that time but that bags that were made in NYC for training purposes had the A code, so a mistake like this is believable.
Thanks whateve! It is so complicated, which is why we leave it to you to figure out...lol.

Hi - I've had quite a few cases on ebay, so I'd like to add some advice if you have not done this already. CALL EBAY on the phone tell them you want to add information on a case and speak to someone in customer service. They often don't get the full story or they don't interpret things the right way by just reading thru the details of the case, and they can miss stuff, which is probably how they screwed this up on you.
Usually when I call ebay regarding a case it gets settled IMMEDIATELY while I am on the phone, no waiting for a decision, they just do whatever they have to do.
You should absolutely win since the seller told you to destroy the bags rather than return them.
update: Yes, eBay reversed the case in my favor after a long phone call. The agent went through the correspondence and was able to see that the seller did in fact instruct me to destroy them, which contradicted her case that they wouldn't be in original condition if returned. However, they did not take the funds from the seller but rather 'paid' me 'due to their error'. So the seller da1317 sold the fakes and got to keep her money. And she definitely did this maliciously, and since eBay deleted my negative feedback, there's no way (other than searching here) that other buyers can be warned about this this scamming seller. I've learned a lot of lessons from this fiasco and I'm going to give buying on eBay a rest for a while. Bad taste in my mouth after this one. :(

Wow! I'm glad you were made whole but I will reiterate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND da1317.

She sold a lot with mostly fakes, kept the money and lied in her ebay case.

I don't know whether anyone else noticed, but I just looked at da1317 's listings and in fact, in addition to the fakes you bought, she'd listed this fake with an invalid serial number:

Comments: I would like to make sure it's authentic, of course, but also know a little more about it. When this style was released, etc. I assumed it was from the 70s because of the style but someone mentioned it might be from May of 1994. If it's not authentic I will take it down immediately. Thank you so much for your help!

Whoever told you it was from the 70s is waaaaay off. That style is called a Becket Zip, style number 9920, and wasn't even introduced until 1993. Yours looks genuine.

ANY Coach that has at least one letter of the alphabet in its serial number, assuming it's genuine, would have to have been made no earlier than 1994, which is the year code in your bag. The "E" means it was made in May (A thru M are the Month codes, "i" usuallyn isn't used). Before 1994, serial numbers were numbers only, no letters.

BTW, just for future reference, the forum Rules don't allow linking to your own auctions since some unscrupulous sellers have done that in order to advertise their own items. Just a heads-up in case your post gets removed. You can post your own photos but can't post URLs of your listings.

The following set of six Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay have a lot of accurate information on Coach, especially older styles made before the move to China:

Welcome to the purse forum!
First of all, it is against the rules to post a link or information about something you are selling. Please edit your post to remove this information. In the future, just post pictures of your item.

The bag was made in May of 1994. It is a Becket zip, style #9920. The style was released in 1993, I believe, and only made for about a year. The color of your bag was called British tan.

Thank you so much! And I'm so sorry about the link, I won't do that again!!

Item Name (if you know it): Coach Leah Tote
Link (if available): Not on ebay. This is a bag that I would see in person before buying--is it worth going to see it?

Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
