Count me as another who doesn't recommend sweetriverrose77 or isabyu1, her other ID.

Unfortunately, sweetriverrose77 (who recently changed her ID from yi_hui4) has another ID which also steals pictures from other sites and other sellers. Both sweetriverrose77 and isabyu1 are both Springfield, IL

Here's a listing from sweetriverrose77 from Springfield, IL: (Note the Chinese watermark)

Here's a listing for the same item from isabyu1from Springfield, IL: (Note the Chinese watermark - hard to see but it's there)

Thank you BeenBurned. I saw isabyu1 as well and thought they either worked together or it was the same person. I see sweetriverrose77 just received a couple positive feedbacks as a buyer yesterday. One of them I question if authentic - the seller seems to sell similar items to her.

Thanks again ladies for your input...I was close to buying something from her but wasn't completely comfortable.

Actually, I believe that the feedback sweetriverrose77 received yesterday as a seller was from an anonymous 7-feedback buyer thanking her for canceling the sale. My guess is that the sale was cancelled because the "buyer" was her other ID and it was a case of backfired shill bidding. The bag the shill won has been relisted.

The Bridle is genuine but I don't know the style name, so are the Gramercy Top Handle and the Madison Carnegie Clutch style number 4416
Hi Hyacinth, do you know the leather used in the bridle line, I remembered I have read somewhere saying that this line is made with special type of leather, not the same with madison or gramercy line.

Do any of you know anything about this bag? I googled the style number, but can't seem to find anything:

Edited to add:

Already answered my own question. I couldn't see the last digit of the style number in the listing's photo, so I was googling an incomplete number. It looks like it's a Poppy Leather Perri Hippie...
The bag in the listing looks okay but be careful when googling serial numbers. Many fakes have (seemingly) valid and (seemingly) correct serial numbers.

Will do. It looks okay to me, too, and the price on that particular listing is low enough to risk it. It just seemed weird at first that I couldn't find it anywhere. Thank you!

Hi there-- I am trying to authenticate this bag that I recently purchased from a thrift store. The number is E9B-6147 and was supposedly made in the US. I did a search for this style number and turned up several for sale on Ebay that all look similar and it is supposedly called a Monteray Flap. Each of the six that are posted on Ebay have either K3H-6147 made in USA or J92-6147 made in Turkey. The more I look the more they all seem questionable. Here are photos of my bag. Both the creed patch and the buckles look sketchy. Did Coach even make a bag like this? What would be a legit style number? Thanks

First of all, Coaches with serial numbers starting with K3H- are fake.

Second of all, no serial number by itself will ever prove that a Coach is genuine, although an invalid number can often prove that it's fake. The ONLY thing that can prove it is photos. Photos "like" the bag being asked about are useless. We really need to see photos of the actual purse.

Did you read the FAQs section on how to post images? If your pictures are wider than 1500 pixels they'll be rejected.

Hello again-- Yes I am aware that a serial number alone will not prove anything is authentic. I'm sorry about the photo problems but seem to have worked them out. I edited my original post and added the photos. Thanks again.

This is a question about the color of a vintage Basic Bag. I posted in the rehab thread but thought some other experts in this thread could offer some advice.

These pics are in full sun and one in shaded natural light. I suspect either Saddle or British Tan. But I know there are special colors too that have been introduced.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not familiar with the bag but a bag that size should have a serial number on the creed.

I can't find any listings or pictures showing the creed, but the style number should be 16734.

I wouldn't recommend buying the bag from mizprple76.

Other opinions are welcome. Maybe someone else might have the bag and can comment.
Thank you, Been Burned. I did post the link to the listing and there are pics in that listing. Won't it open for you? Thank you.
