Ladies....In which thread should I ask if certain Coach items exist? There are a few keychains that I think might exist, but need ask if they do exist or maybe the ones I saw were 'homemade'.

We authenticate keychains and other Coach items in this thread too. We need the same information that's set out in post number One - item listing, auction listing URL, seller's name, etc. If you post photos please post the front and back of all items in a size large enough for us to see details clearly.

Keychains are HIGHLY counterfeited because fakes are so cheap to produce and can be made in the tens of thousands. Coach keychains should always be authenticated especially since fakes can and do contain toxic materials like lead, arsenic and cadmium that are banned for that kind of use in most countries but are often found in cheaply made fakes.

If by "homemade" you mean keychains or jewelry made from pieces and charms of what are claimed to be genuine Coach items, many of those use fake parts too, and NONE of them, even if completely made of genuine pieces from genuine Coach keychains or jewelry, can ever legally be described or sold as "Coach" since Coach is not the final manufacturer of the item.

hello!

I have one that I am trying to authentic and get the style number for...
Coach Chelsea Corset Laced Large Wristlet
Listing: 351108704035
Seller: the-storage-room
http://www.ebay.com/itm/351108704035?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Thank you kindly for any help!

It looks ok to me, but it may take a while to find the style number.

ETA - sorry, all I can find is the number for the smooth leather version, 40255. The Pebbled leather one probably would have had a different number

Thank you Hyacinth. I'm wanting to know if Coach made these in actual keychains or if somebody took them off cell phone lanyards and put them on key rings. The only one still in ebay's closed auctions is the crystal turtle one....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Turtl..._Accessories&hash=item41831f7780#ht_82wt_1218

Next, were these two ever made into keychains? I'm wondering if the ones I saw weren't taken from cell lanyards and put on key rings.

Lastly, were these purse charms ever produced in a dark antiqued brass or did I imagine seeing one of those before? Was there a bracelet similar that was in the antiqued brass?

I have those 4 items on my 'want' list and if they don't exist I'd like to quit looking for them...so thank you in advance! ....sorry, my post didn't come out as I intended it to.

For SNAD, ebay is better.

IMO, this is a case where the seller should receive feedback that can warn other buyers.

Here's the note from ebay:

We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Center to help resolve any problems you may encounter.

I cannot leave feedback. The listing is gone.

Item: AUTH NEW COACH MADISON GATHERED LEATHER JULIETTE SATCHEL HANDBAG 21280
Listing number:321454782540
Seller: sweetriverrose77

Comments:
Hi. I had been looking at a few of this sellers handbags. I do not recall ever seeing the blue (not sure if marine) in the gathered Juliette. Do you think this is authenticate or possibly from another market? The second image concerns me.

Thanks for your help!

I share your concern about the second photo - in fact many of the seller's photos have been stolen from other sources. At least half of her Gallery photos were stolen from Coach's website, and several of the other pictures have other seller's watermarks on them like the Juliette and the listing for the white woven Carrie. Apparently she couldn't find any pictures of the Mini Preston to steal so she had to be content with just stealing Coach's photo as the only one in the listing.

I would NOT buy from " sweetriverrose77 " under ANY circumstances since it's extremely likely that the bag in the photos is NOT the exact one you'll receive. Stealing other seller's or companies' graphics and photos is not only unethical, but against Ebay rules and against US federal laws on copyright and trademark violations.

Also, this new seller ALREADY has TWO Negatives, and under old Ebay Rules would have been blocked or banned from the site. Her latest Feedback from an unhappy buyer says "bought a New Without Tags bag, However it's used bag... a lot of scratches..."

BTW, since the photo of the blue Juliette was actually stolen right from Coach, they obviously made that color. Who the other pictures are stolen from (you can actually see a tiny bit of the original owner's watermark in the lower right corner of the 3rd and 4th photos) is another question. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
Count me as another who doesn't recommend sweetriverrose77 or isabyu1, her other ID.

Unfortunately, sweetriverrose77 (who recently changed her ID from yi_hui4) has another ID which also steals pictures from other sites and other sellers. Both sweetriverrose77 and isabyu1 are both Springfield, IL

Here's a listing from sweetriverrose77 from Springfield, IL: (Note the Chinese watermark)

Here's a listing for the same item from isabyu1from Springfield, IL: (Note the Chinese watermark - hard to see but it's there)

Bummer but you're correct; you can't leave feedback once the listing has been removed.

Normally, I'm not big on negging sellers who list a fake, possibly in error, but because of your seller's history, it's obvious that at best, she doesn't authenticate her items before listing but at worst, it's possible that she knows exactly what she's doing. I can't recommend kandik.

Yep, I'm with you on that one!

I find it amazing how so many sellers on eBay so blatantly steal other sellers. I confronted one seller a few months ago regarding the use of someone else's pics and their reply was so matter of fact "oh, everybody does it". And don't even bother reporting it to eBay because they'll do absolutely nothing. Reason being, eBay equates removing a listing as "lost revenue" for none other than the almighty eBay

Only the owner of the pictures can report infringement and although not every report is acted on, many are. If sellers don't report the unauthorized use of their images, ebay can't do anything. So it's imperative that sellers report copycats.

Most charms that were used on cell phone lanyards were also used on keychains.

The Crystal Turtle style 92311 is genuine. The only version of the Pave Pig I have a picture of is the lanyard # 92367 but I'm almost positive they made a keychain version (check all "pave" items carefully, the crystals had a tendency to fall out). The Pave Bird is another one that I can only find a picture of in the lanyard version so it's hard to say if the ones in your pictures are in their original configuration. Without a valid picture for comparison I'd just be guessing.

MOST of the very dark antiqued brass items are fake. Tha darker the "antique-ing" the more likely it is to be fake. The ones with Carriage charms are really hard to authenticate because some of them, the genuine ones at least, were taken off handbags and sold separately, and some were sold as regular jewelry items. I don't have photos of any of those, whether sold as stand-alone bracelets or included with bags. I don't think any Carriage charm bracelet-style items were ever sold as keychains. BeenBurned might be able to give an opinion on the Carriage item.

The pave pig keychain is 92360. (Sorry. My image is too large to post)

Aha! Found this in the Juicy sub-forum!
