Thank you so much! Now I Just need to clean itI think it's genuine but don't have any information about it, and the few catalogs I have from the 70s and 80s don't show it. It looks like it may have been the original version of the Legacy Satchel #9163 that was made in 1999, and the strap mountings are the same as a 70s-era tote I've seen but that's all I can tell you.
Edited to add - I found a few pictures of what might be your bag. You didn't post measurements (which are always a big help with vintage bags BTW) but if yours measures about 14x11 inches this may be the same bag. There's also a similar bag in Coach's Archives. It's just filed as a "60s-70s-era satchel" in my photo files.
Both listings look okay. Can somone check these for me

Hi, everyone, can some authenticate this for me before I pay? I know, I know, but I got if for a 1/10th of what other listings were going for and I know it's filthy.
I am hoping a 50/50 mix of dish soap and water whipped up like meringue and slathered on the suede will help clean it up. I going to use one of those little plastic brushes with a million teeth that doctors scrub with to clean it.

Genuine, but only 12 years old so not technically vintage.
Thanks, as always. I found a couple of these on ebay listed as "Hampton checkbook wallets" for whatever that is worth. It looks ok to me. Hard to pin a name on it though, that style was probably made for 7 to 10 years at least.
Most listings on Ebay just seem to call it a Chevron Hobo Bag. It's genuine and probably was an Outlet style which is why it's not in the Wayback Machine.
Hello,
I found this at an estate sale but I've never seen it before! Can someone authenticate and identify it? View attachment 2651251
