Again, you all here at tpf rock! Thank you so much, Hyacinth & BeenBurned for your quick and knowledgeable responses!

I had not reported these listings because I wasn't sure & wanted to post here for "expert" opinions. I not only got those very knowledgeable answers I had expected, but also got valuable information that I wasn't aware of and/or hadn't considered. I will continue to always do my research & refer here when in doubt.

.I was wrong and stand corrected! I am thankful for this forum....I would've felt terrible had I reported that seller on eBay and possibly ruined their reputation, the whole time being in the wrong.

Thank you all again for sharing your knowledge here!

It's genuine, Coach did make bags in Turkey.

Thank you so much!

I have one last one.

Item: "Vintage COACH CROSSBODY - 80s Caramel Brown Leather Satchel Purse" (looks like a Court bag)
Link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/189727724/vintage-coach-crossbody-80s-caramel
Comments: the creed is a run-on number style with no dash which reads "00908919" (where the last number wasn't rolled correctly and is in between a 9 and 0)

Please and thank you !

Last 2 for tonight! 2 belt bags (not sure if this is their official name ... but it's what I see it called in other listings):

Both have the following dimensions (in inches):
- Length = 6
- Width = 5
- Height = 2
- Strap Drop = 24

Thank you!

It's genuine. The stamping machine at one of the Coach plants in the late 1980s got stuck on the 8 instead of the dash and quite a few bags were made with 8-number serials.

To make double check, this is in fact a court bag? The seller's measurements given were 9.5 x 8.5 x 2.5 which looks a little bit more square than that I see being sold (maybe it's just that the bag lost its form on the bottom and droops).

Thanks again!

Yes, it's a Court Bag.

Handbag measurements are notoriously imprecise. The bag does droop in the middle, and most experienced Coach sellers stuff their bags for photos so that they show the same shape as Coach's stock photos.
