it is mahogany brown with brass and about 17" wide X 12" high X 5 " deep

Ideally, I'd like to see a picture of the inside of the bag. It might not have a creed (because it's a smaller bag) but there should be a tag saying where it was made.

Those teensy shoes, though you can't use them aren't Coach.

If those are UK shoe sizes they would be the same as a 5.5 in US.

What's messy about it?

It's from the Horse And Carriage line, they were mostly Factory Store items. Probably the HAC Satchel, 14035
