Thanks! If it's real and it sounds like it is then I'll keep it. I get tons of compliments on it. It is a summer bag and I while I thought it might last more than a summer it was half off so I'll take it :-) thanks everyone. ,!!!!

THANK YOU! I'm now pretty curious to see what the percentage of real vs. fake bags there are on auction sites. This thread is an eye-opener.

Found this court bag (black, not navy, but oh-so pretty). Do you guys think it's real or not so real?

While the corresponding underside zipper has the cloth sewn under leather. I've never noticed this detail in my other bags but that is because those are mainly flap bags. It just bothered me how much excess fabric there is to it and it isn't covered with leather.

It's the same as my black one which was made in the same year and plant as yours.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
From GW yesterday...First time ever to see one of these...hoping this was just a Costa Rican boo-boo.
Approx. 11” w x 8”h x 3.5”d Strap drop 21” Photos look greenish, she's really navy.
1994 Sheridan Glenwood #4225, yes?
I found a catalog pic Hyacinth posted on the ID Coach thread in April 2012...looks right to me... Fingers crossed!

It's genuine, and yes, those serial number mistakes were pretty common. It's not a problem.
