Can I please get an opinion on this tote?
The creed pic is blurry but I have it in hand now and the patch itself
is very worn down so I don't know that I would get a better picture.
It does say in the wording "United States".
Let me know if you need more photos. Thank you!

Please wait for opinions on the specific bag you bought.

My comment concerns the seller, ljuls165.

The seller has a history of listing/mixing fakes. I reported fakes from this seller several times.
Feb. 2013: fake Coach wristlet
May 2013: 5 fake Coach bags
Dec. 2013: 2 more fake Coach bags

Had you asked before purchasing, I would have recommended against ljuls165.

Item Name: crescent bag (early 1980s?)

Dimensions (in inches): length=10, height=9 (from bottom to top center of bag between straps, depth=2.5, strap drop=18 (at its longest)

Additional information on the color of this bag (tabac? british tan?) would be appreciated!!

Thanks in advance :)

Item Name: large madison satchel?

Dimensions (in inches): length=11, height=7.5, depth=5, strap drop=NA (missing crossbody strap)

Unsure of the original color on this one - Appears to have faded to a beautiful charcoal grey/slate blue though.

Thank you!

Item: Bonnie Cashin satchel with make up bag
Item no: 271462603567

Comment: no tag on the bag. Are these authentic, please?

If the seller is claiming that a completely unmarked purse is a Bonnie Cashin because a marked cosmetic bag is attached to it, she needs to show clear photos of exactly how the smaller bag is attached that show if the attachment is permanent and came like that from the manufacturer, or if the smaller case was just attached to the bigger one with a clip or some other way that makes it possible to remove it. Even if the cosmetic bag strap is sewn in, I'd still want to see a good close-up of that area.

I doubt if anyone here could verify that the satchel is genuine unless they've actually sold one as a verified Cashin or maybe have seen one in the Coach archives, assuming non-Coach Cashin bags are collected there.

Thanks Hyacinth. I'll ask the seller for some more pics.

It's genuine, and was probably black and has faded. Style number 9765, Madison Satchel Large, made in 1986 or 87.

Genuine, and could be either one of those colors. Not only were those shades pretty close, but the original colors changed over the years as they developed a patina or if they were conditioned. Style number 9235, early 80s to maybe 1984.

Ah I see! This crescent is quite dirty too so I'll be interested to see if the color changes after a good scrub :)

Thanks Hyacinth!

It looks like a genuine Lunch Tote from the Coach Companions line, although the color isn't in my catalogs. The other details seem ok.
