And this one...also from Goodwill today...looks virtually new!
Approx. 8.5”w x 6”h x 3.5”d Strap drop 11”
1997 Sonoma Small Flap Bag #4929, yes?
It seems to be a really dark brown...would Bramble be correct?
Thanks in advance for any and all info!

And last of all...could someone please authenticate this Coach belt?
Also from Goodwill.
Style #7602...made in NYC...stamped IRREGULAR next to "creed" info.
Does anyone know how old this might be?
Thanks in advance!

Genuine, but the color is probably Chocolate. Bramble was only available in Nubuc.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
It was a bonanza day at Goodwill...2 more to follow :)
Approx. 12.5”w x 9”h x 4.5”d Strap drop 24”
The top handle is like a Court bag, but stitched to the top flap. There is a pocket on the back.
I would love to know name, age, style number if possible...As always, thanks in advance!

Genuine, Crosby Bag from 1992, style 9905

Not an authentication question but more of a "when was this bag made?" question.
I broke down and bought (won an auction) for this cute pebbled satchel which I think is a Chelsea? Anyone know when this bag came out? I know Coach makes a ton of different styles but I'm amazed how many ebay sellers don't put in the name of the bag they're selling.
Maybe they don't know the name?
Anyway, thanks for the help............and happy Saturday!:smile1:

Check the Salearea Guides - the year of production is right in the serial number.

Please always post a photo of the creed and serial number, it makes our job a lot easier! :smile1:

I don't think this one is a case of a "newer" vs. older serial number.

In this case, the reason for the completely different serial numbers is because they're different styles.

The brown bag is style 9082 (made in 2000) and the red one is style 9134 (made in 1996.)

Note that the seller of the red bag, pursegirl214, mixes fakes and authentic and was discussed earlier this week:

Actually I have questions about the red 9134 by pursegirl214. Do we know when this style was introduced? I thought 1996 was a little early. I am never comfortable with J factory codes. I don't have this bag, but I have 9135 made in 2001 and the ends of the straps are more rounded on mine. I would expect these bags to be virtually identical except for size.

I have no idea of whether pursegirl214's item is authentic or not (though I don't recommend her based on her history.)

My post was intended to explain why the bags had different serial numbers. Perhaps Hyacinth will comment on the listing from pursegirl214.

FWIW the creed photo on Pursegirl214's listing looks a heck of a lot like this fake creed pic previously posted on TPF.... just transpose the D and J.

The last 2 links aren't working
Thank you Hyacinth. Let me try this again. I found this bag at a yard sale and bought it because I love it more than for the label. It's labeled coach and my daughter believes it's authentic. I won't be broken-hearted either way, but would still like to know if this is authentic or not, on principle.

My links weren't working the last time around.

Thank you ladies for taking the time to help those of us who don't have your expertise!
