Is it stamped in gold in your older bags? Are you still getting it since the listing was removed? If you do, can you check to see if the buckles are stamped "solid brass", and share any other stamps or other details about it?

The bag is an authentic Madison Carlyle #4401. I've never seen that exact wallet before. It looks authentic, though. My lipstick case has the same markings on the snap, and the Coach lozenge and "Made in Italy" stamp.

Yes they were identical to that in font and foiling. I will take pics. It's a lovely bag and those hippies with the turn locks are so rare. Love the little feet on it to. I think it's a really special bag. The listing said shipped before it was removed. I can't access the link now to contact the seller to apologize for all this.

I doubt it. Not with all that stay active that are truly fake. I was trying to find an interior shot of a 50s flight satchel I had with the stamp. I can only find the blog pics though. I'll get Jed to send me some next week to share.

Hello everyone! Will someone please authenticate this for me? I think it is a Metropolitan Briefcase from 1997, style 5180. Does anyone know what it originally retailed for? Thanks in advance!
