I'm not comfortable with that one. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of what I'm 100 percent sure are pics of a genuine bag with that J8D- prefix, and there have been a ton of fakes with prefix combinations starting with J. What bothers me is that there's at least one thing that's different between the serial number on this one and several apparently genuine bags from the same plant but in 1997. I can't authenticate it but can't say for sure that it's fake either.

I'm not comfortable with newer styles, but whoever actually authenticates it will need to see a clear photo of the entire creed and serial number.

You need to read their Negatives and Neutrals at Toolhaus.org.

I'm sorry, but I make a point of not authenticating the Coach items from " STATION_85 or STATION 85 " because I don't want to recommend them in any way. Maybe one of the other authenticators here can take a look.

The pictures aren't very clear, detailed or large but I don't feel good about that bag. The horse and carriage plaque looks crooked, the creed imprint and texture look off, the picture showing the back of the hangtag shows a mess of stitching and the whole bag doesn't look right.

If you haven't paid for it, please request more pictures and post them here linking back to the post.

It's genuine, made in 2001. The circle stamp is done by Coach when they transfer a bag from the full-price stores to the Factory Store outlets, although that stamp has been faked too and shouldn't be considered as proof that the bag is authentic.

^^^ This previous authentication was from June 2, but I just found a listing for a fake Coach keychain (sold with BIN) from the seller gunnplay and wanted to warn potential buyers that the seller (knowingly or not) mixes authentics and fakes.

BeenBurned - I took a 2nd look at the things you pointed out, and I agree - everything looks a little "wonky". Those darn pictures just make things really hard to see.
