It looks genuine. They made both a silver and a brass version, the brass was number 92148.
The creed looks fine. It's 9061.I think my Rambler is ok, too, but I want to double-check before I give it to my mom:

Thank you Hyacinth and Whatev for your opinion. 99% of the time the fakes do not fool me but sometimes those really well made leather copies are hard to peg. At least now I can get to work cleaning the brass because it is a HOT MESS. Thank you again.

You're welcome! Some of the really good fakes don't have anything that would prove conclusively they aren't authentic. If they are really good, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I don't think you can know 100% unless you bought it yourself directly from Coach.

The creed on this looks really wonky to me... the font is really off and what is up with the 1941 at the end? And it's missing the style/production number too. Hmm... I would have to say I don't think its genuine, but I would wait for other opinions, especially Hyacinth!!
