Well, isn't this interesting.

Azuremerekat has posted about her J5L-9991 lunch box tote on the ebay purse board. Her listing(s) were pulled.
Azuremerekat is a male seller. I have purchased two bags from him. He doesn't disclose everything in the listings about his items and he, like many other sellers of vintage bags, exaggerates the age of them. He did give me a partial refund for one of the bags that had pin holes "that he didn't notice" however it was on condition that I left him positive feedback. I wouldn't buy from him again.

I do recall a previous post on the ebay boards where someone commented on "having to authenticate her items before listing" and the response was that "I'm a guy."

I find it rather telling when a buyer (who has purchased more than one item) says they wouldn't do business with that seller again.

Although I've not bought from Azuremerekat, I find it frustrating that a seller who sells as much Coach as he does would either be so ignorant, naive or just negligent in learning more about the products he sells. And for that reason, I wouldn't do business with him either.

There are plenty of other sellers who 1) authenticate their items, 2) accurately describe the ages of their items, 3) accurately describe the condition of their items, 4) don't describe every bag as "vintage" if it's not vintage and 5) don't describe items with keywords as "rare" and "collectible" in order to get more views if those items are a dime a dozen.

thanks so much Hyacinth and BeenBurn, you 2 are bravo!! very detailed advices.

however, since i am looking for this style bag for my boyfriend. and this bag cant find in Coach online store or coachfactory.com now might be it is out dated style ;( but i like this pebbled leather style very much. and price is really attractive. if i here attached the big label inside, (just recieved fr seller) do u mind still help me to authenticate? She said.she purchased fr Coach outlet before) millions of thanks and i do hope it is authentic. thx a lot!!!!! Have a nice day!! Ladies!! ;)

A better picture of the whole creed patch and serial number would help. The strap on several pictures of the one you're asking about isn't the same as the ones on the other listed bags in that style. It could have been swapped, or maybe it was changed some time during production by Coach, but because the seller has stolen several of Coach's copyright-protected website photos and the first two photos show the standard dog-leash clip and not the kind shown in the other photos, I'm questioning whether the other photos can be trusted too.

The bottom two are collage-types that can be from either legitimate OR fakes-selling websites, so the listing includes photos stolen from Coach and photos stolen from another unknown site, both with dog-leash clips, and two pictures in the middle with a completely different set of clips AND a strap that doesn't even look as if it matches the color of the bag - in fact the bag color itself doesn't match either the top or bottom set of photos.

Not only is it illegal to use a company's copyrighted photos and graphics, but when a seller has a perfectly good camera, there's no reason to. And there's no way to tell which pictures, if any, were actually taken by the seller OR which bag you'd actually receive, if any of them.

There's no way I can authenticate or recommend that bag. And we always recommend avoiding buying from sellers who don't take their own photos.

More opinions are welcome

Without even commenting on authenticity, I'll go a step further to comment on my opinion and (non)-recommendation of the seller, rcaridad-2012.

IMO, this seller not only steals Coach's copyrighted pictures but also steals other pictures, photoshopping the backgrounds out of the pictures in a lame attempt to disguise the infringement.

For example, his listing for L.A.M.B shoes uses pictures taken from this blog:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/L-A-M-B-Ine...dge-Sandals-/171238694311?hash=item27de9f1da7
One source of picture:
Scroll about 1/3 way down: http://jenclydestylist.com/2012/06

This listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Mens-...1?pt=US_CSA_MWA_Backpacks&hash=item27de7c1c35

At least 2 of the pictures are stolen from Coach and one source of several other pictures:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/698-NWT-Coa...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Other listings use pictures that don't show the seller's actual items and i wouldn't buy from this seller.
thx so much beenburned for yr advice. I have just uploaded few images taken by the seller, hope to know it is an authentic bag. Many many thx!!

The creed looks okay.

Geez, I just don't get why a seller capable of taking a good picture would even want to use stock and stolen pictures.

Actual pictures give a seller so much more credibility.

The creed looks good to me too. So did you get the strap with the Coach name stamped into the strap clips, or the one with the unstamped dog-leash clips?

If it was bought at the outlet, maybe the strap was switched or replaced there.
