So far we've ONLY seen that K3H- prefix on fakes and suspected fakes, never in a bag that could be proved genuine. Also the inside pocket zipper ends don't look right. There's nothing in my files with that style number either but that doesn't prove anything.

If you're thinking of buying it, please don't.

I can only see the second photo. We need a photo of the creed.

We really need to see a picture of the creed. That number prefix has been used on lots of fakes.

That thick font is usually indicative of fake.

Wait for other opinions.

Sorry. I don't type fast enough.

Hi guys! Here is a bag in my possession! Wondering if it is authentic?? The zipper closing is sorta weird, but I could be wrong. Everything else looks good. The stitching, details etc. but please take a look.. Few pics to come....

Do you know anything about this? Style? Year? Etc. is it an outlet bag? I think it is poppy, and they don't make that especially for the outlet?! But it could of ended up there? Thank you!
I believe it's style 47018:

I agree, it's fake.

Hello Ladies,

Please help me authenticate this bag..

Item: Willis Satchel
Listing number: 171228016951
Seller: welkins0714
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171228016951?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Comments: I have a feeling it may be a fake from photo 7 showing the front flap, sloppy stitch job as seen on the upper right hand side.

I'm not sure which photo you're counting as number 7 and have a feeling that different browsers or portable devices might display the photos in a different order. And none of the stitching I'm looking at has any glaring mistakes unless someone can point out what I'm missing. But I'm seeing an always-questionable plant code, and a Coach logo above the creed with a font that I know Coach NEVER used. There also sems to be a problem with the turnlock.

Stitching quality should not be used on its own as an authentication tool. Sometimes plant workers made mistakes, and Coach didn't throw bags out just because the stitching was a bit off in a small area. Invalid plant or other production codes or non-existant fonts are much bigger problems especially in the case of a logo which was a legally registered trademark and would always have to match the details of the registered logo(s). This one doesn't.

The purse looks authentic, but the dustbag looks fake.
Thank you, whateve :-), i really want to make sure it's auth as there is no returns stated by the seller. I don't want to discredit your opinion, but do you think i need any additional photo requests from the seller? I don't like hearing about the dust bag being questionable but i'm happy about the later.

I totally understand. Even if the seller states no returns, ebay should help get your money back if it turned out to be fake. We can never be 100% sure an item is authentic unless we buy it ourselves directly from Coach. There could be counterfeiters who get it perfect.

The main things I look at to authenticate are shown in the photos. The only other thing that isn't shown is if the ends of the dowels are covered with leather. The creed, the stitching, the handle, and the padding above the turnlock all look good. I would be a little concerned about the dustbag. You might want to ask the seller if they are the original owner and if the dustbag came with it. If you would feel more comfortable getting another authenticator to confirm, it wouldn't bother me in the least.
