If it didn't have that goofy font I would be worried. This style is often counterfeited but all authentic creeds from this plant have the H lower and running into the dash so this one looks authentic. I believe the red was made with brass hardware but silver hardware was available for this style so I'm not absolutely sure. I have it in blue with silver hardware.

This one is authentic too. I have a nubuc Sonoma from the same plant made during the same month and the creed is identical. Sonoma creeds often look sloppy with the numbers too close to the stitching. It's a Sonoma small bucket zip nubuc made in 1996.

Thank you for the authentications! The blue with silver sounds beautiful! And that is so fun when you see bags that are from the same year and plant! Small world! Are the Sonomas rare? I'm not sure the best price for this bag...

The creed and the hangtag are both fine, although that hangtag looks older than the bag. It looks like a NYC hangtag. The bags I have with US creed have a different shaped hangtag. It's possible that hangtags could have been mixed up by a previous owner.

ETA: Then again, Coach probably used up the old hangtags before making more, so that may have been the original hangtag for that bag.

The blue is beautiful! It's a bright sky blue. Sonomas aren't rare. I think they were very popular. You don't see the nubuc that often. Certain colors are more rare. I love the straps on these bags.

Ahh the bright sky blue! Love! Do you know the name of this bag? You love the straps on the Sonomas? She wants 99$ for it.. Which I think is to much.... Also there looks to be some scratches on the nubuc, will those come out? Thanks for all the info!!

Ahh that would make sense! Glad to know it is authentic! The tag just did not look right!:) with the bag! When it will look good with another bag!:) thanks

Thank you, Whateve! I was really hoping it was a real thing, because I just bought it from Goodwill online... I know, I know... but I just couldn't help myself - it was so new, almost perfect...


Also, I just received pictures of the creed from two Craigslist purses, but I'm not sure they would be any help... the owner said that's the best she could do. If you can see something, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
