Thank you BeenBurned. I knew it was fake but wanted an expert opinion.

I never intended to donate a fake bag. I know better than that. I had no intention of keeping it myself and wouldn't donate it without knowing for sure it was authentic. It's not...it will be destroyed.

I've been here long enough to know the protocol for fake bags. It will be properly destroyed. I brought the bag here so I could, in good conscience, donate it knowing it was authentic. It isn't...my husband will have fun properly slashing it to shreds. LOL

Hyacinth...Sophia's_Mom...I didn't mean to sound short with either of you and if I did, I apologize. Perhaps I didn't word my opening sentences correctly on both threads. If the bags were authentic, I could donate them...if not, they'd be destroyed.

Thanks, it's good to know that you appreciate the problem and understand the solution. :smile1:

Hi, I uploaded pictures of my Coach from a memory chip into my computer. It told me, "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing." Rats, I thought I could finally get pictures up. Anyone have any idea why the pics are blocked and how I get this token?

Thanks in advance. I so badly want to run the pics past you wonderful ladies.

W

This is a TPF rejection, cuz I can upload to other places. I'll post the whole message. I've tried it 4 times and each time it rejects.

"our submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. Check this thread for information on how to resolve this on your end.

If you continue having issues, please inform the tPF admin and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

Thanks for any help. I have several purses that I want to show to the ladies at the Rehab thread if they are real. But I hesitate to put a lot of time into it if they might be fakes.

Sometimes TPF is glitchy and that message comes up.

If restarting your computer and relogging in doesn't help, open a free photobucket account and upload the pictures to there. It's not any more difficult posting the PB link than uploading pictures directly.

seller dody0011 - You can report the completed listing. If there are enough reports, ebay might pull the listing and hopefully, it might be before the buyer pays for it.
Thanks, BeenBurned. Is it possible that an item's history on eBay has been blocked somehow? I followed your advice and traced the fake bag as an item sold by dody0011, but when I'm trying to open the link for the bag in order to report it, it just transfers me to general search page for gray coach bags. It worked fine yesterday when I first found it. Any ideas/suggestions? As for the payment, I think that the transaction was completed a long time ago since the bag was purchased on 01/17 :(

You can't access the listing because it has been removed. :smile1: Someone (or several people) must have reported it and ebay removed it.

Oh... it would make more sense to me to keep the transaction and write FAKE across the page in huge red letters. Just found another one, similar to it - a small green bag with the same number as a vintage briefcase, sold, more than once, unfortunately... as well as several more "coaches"... gong to add seller deals4uresaleshop to the wall of shame now.

I reported fakes from deals4uresaleshop 2 months ago in November, 2013.

From the same seller's Completeds, a black Duffle Sac-lookalike - the seam of the piping around the base is in the wrong place, the inside pocket zipper is too short and doesn't extend to the edges of the pocket, and I'd bet my Social Security check that the serial number is actually 0444-315 which is on the Fakes List. And actually, the inside pocket of the Duffle Sac ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE A ZIPPER AT ALL. A photo of the inside pocket zipper of the fake is below.

VINTAGE COACH GENUINE LEATHER BLACK BUCKET no.4444-315

DO NOT BUY FROM " DEALS4URESALESHOP "

Is this authentic. Potential buy from local seller. What worries me is that the "N" in "No" looks like it is running into the stitching (maybe not, but that is would it looks like in the pic). If authentic, what is the name, year etc? thanks
