Is this a genuine patchwork bag? I want to buy it but don't want to get burned again.

It looks genuine, but be aware that it's a "Pouch" and not a full-size purse. Coach considers it an Accessory, like a cosmetic case - be sure you know the actual measurements and that the small size will work for you.

Yep, two versions of the same bag in a 24-hour period is a little unusual, especially when I don't think anyone's ever asked about that style before. :D
ETA - nope, I lied, someone had one about a year ago:

Sellers need to be more careful with measurements, especially when so many buyers have specific needs about handbag size and whether or not their personal electronics, tablets and other goodies will fit. If I'd bought that other one expecting it to be 10 inches wide and found it was 2 inches too narrow, I'd be really miffed and the seller's stars would get a serious dinging. The seller would also be getting the bag back.

Really, how can someone mis-measure a purse by two inches? Unless they were just "guesstimating", but there's no excuse for not having a ruler or measuring tape in their house. I have four of them just within 3 feet of my computer. (Maybe that's a little obsessive?) :graucho:

With eBay being so protective of buyers rights now, I'd be dang sure I was as close as possible in my descriptions!

Hi Ladies - I've been on a pretty good run lately but took a flyer on a lot of small pouches and *&$^%$ if every one of them is fake. Could you be so kind as to take a look to see if perhaps I've made a mistake. I'll break them into two posts, no three, THREE POSTS for ease of response.

Note: Even if they weren't fake, I'd have serious issue with the description as "slightly used."

Second batch:

These two have the same Coach stamp, but different zipper pulls. The stitching is atrocious.

3. Lavender Chunky Case

4. Orange Chunky Case

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure about the first one. The creed looks too mushy and the font doesn't match other examples I have from that plant. The green one is definitely fake. The lining, number, and font are all wrong.

Thanks Whateve! Here is a photo of the zipper on the brown one which does not match any small Coach pouch I have. The lining is sewn onto the zipper so I don't think it could be a replacement. It also looks like the lining was sewn after the bag was made (i.e. the seam on both are a raised ridge on the bottom of the bag - another feature I've not seen on genuine bags which have the seams sewn on the side next to the leather and are smooth inside.

Let me know if this helps or if another photos would help - I tried not to spam the forum!

Doesn't it seem like the Coach lozenges have too many frames, especially the black one? Compare them to this listing, which I believe is authentic.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...4?pt=US_Makeup_Bags_Cases&hash=item33896e80ee

The sloppy stitching and the problems with the lozenges make me doubt the authenticity of any of them.

eta: oops, forgot the link.
