Inside lining seam. (Ugh, didn't want to put my fingers inside, this bag is nasty.)
I've never seen any with a lining seam like that. The seams should be hidden on the inside. Every case I've ever seen with this lining has rectangular links on the zipper chain. With both of these errors, plus the problems with the creed, I think it is fake.

ETA: I found two similar cosmetic cases in the completed listings. Both have similar seams, but there are other differences.

It is hard to tell from the photos, but I don't think either of them have a serial number, which you wouldn't expect in an item this small. They each have different zipper pulls, but we've seen both of those types of pulls on authentic items, whereas the pull on yours doesn't match any we've seen.

Here's a brand new looking one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-COA...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

It has a Coach imprint on the bottom but no serial number on the creed.

Doesn't it seem like the Coach lozenges have too many frames, especially the black one? Compare them to this listing, which I believe is authentic.

The sloppy stitching and the problems with the lozenges make me doubt the authenticity of any of them.

eta: oops, forgot the link.

Agree - big issues with the lozenge. I see that there are two flavors of accessory lozenge for older wallet and cases like this. I call them Fat Coach and Skinny Coach:

You can see below that they both have one raised border inside a depressed border. Fat Coach (photo 1) has thicker letters than Skinny Coach (photo 2) does. Fat Coach also has a larger stamped area around the border. They are all the same size as well - .25"x.75". (In photo 2 one looks bigger but they are the same size.) They are all place evenly in the corner of each item and are stamped straight.

The third photo is of two cases I've had for a while that I think are fake based on the size of the stamp (bigger than Fat or Skinny), placement on the bag (not evenly placed in corner/crooked) and what looks like two or more lines in the border. All four of the Chunky cases I posted have the same issues.

Like this listing that I thought was fake: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Too many border lines and too low down.

Thanks Whateve - great links. I checked the bottom of the green and brown ones again - no Coach stamp.

Really appreciate the feedback on these. It is hard with these things. Wish I could just file a SNAD due to condition of the items but that means they would just get relisted.

I think you've got a good case. The green one is really easy to prove that it is fake. The others are a little more subtle but still it is pretty obvious they have problems. I think that even if you had a bought a lot in which there was just one fake among authentic pieces, ebay would still decide the case in your favor. It's just a question of whether they make you return the items. Even with fakes, sometimes ebay makes the buyer return them.

Hey gang! Can you let me know if this is authentic? It does not come with a strap but I am hoping I can get one made for it instead. This is something someone found for me and it is not listed online yet, so there are no further details about it beside visuals. Let me know what you think:

It's authentic.

I found another bag! Can you take a peek at this one? The serial number is hard to make out but it appears to be No C5D 9755

Dimensions are: 9" x 6" x 2.5" with a 24" removable shoulder strap

Thanks. :)
