it is approx 8x5"..the seriel # is HOD-9167. let me know.thanks so much for your help.

Genuine, and it has one of the strangest names ever used for a Coach bag - Legacy Top Of Counter Compartment bag, at least that's what's posted on the old web page. Someone at Coach must have been over-indulging in some kind of chemical stimulant when they gave it that name.

And last but not least...I was so crazed by shopping yesterday, I bought a wristlet I already have one of LOL! The other one was in October, I think. Hyacinth said 2004-ish, no name or style, MFF. And I'm guessing the dustbag I bought is real, as it matches others I have.

The Sig Soft Striped Demi is ok, and probably the keyfob too, those usually aren't in my files.

Coach made several similar styles but this does appear to be 7327.

Here's a picture of a box (authentic) with the labeling from that fob. Most of the white with brown boxes are fake but 9-ish years ago, keychains came in these boxes.

I don't recommend marylouiseattic. A seller of this many Coach and Dooney needs to do her homework and authenticate items before mixing authentic and fake!

I contacted the seller and asked for a photo of the creed or at least what it says and she rudely said that she wasn't near the bag and she's never had anyone ask her that before, etc.....anyway...I am wondering if it is for real...can you look and tell me what you think?

Unless your reason for asking is to report a possible fake, after that type of response, why would you even consider doing business with daniellejohnson81? Personally, I'd stay away and recommend no one do business with her!

(This is her third time relisting that unsold bag. Could her attitude be part of the reason for the lack of activity? Red is a highly desirable color. She could get good money with an attitude adjustment.)

Note also that the seller received a negative feedback in the past for an allegedly fake Coach.

That's exactly right, BB...I orginally was considering it but her rude responses made me suspicious (plus the fact that I can't see any sign of a creed - even faded ones usually show some characters....I thought I would get some backup here before I report..

How can she say "Authentication guaranteed" when she obviously doesn't know that you need to see the creed and serial to authenticate a Coach? Her pictures don't even show ANY of the areas that the fakes makers usually get wrong on that style, assuming it's a 9085 - but there's no way to be sure of that either.

BTW, I DON'T think you should report it. Having no proof that it's genuine is a lot different than having actual proof that it's fake. And unfortunately you can't report a seller just for a pissy attitude.

Just to play Devil's Advocate here, the buyer who left the Neg for an "Authentic Plaid Coach Purse" said in her FB "i recived the purse took it to coach and it was a fake waiting on refund". And we all know what usually happens when you take a genuine bag to a Coach store for "authentication".

So I'm not giving a lot of credence to that Negative. Ninety-five percent of Coach store employees would look at a plaid bag (and Coach made many different plaid styles in the early 2000s) and say that Coach never made it. If it didn't have Cs all over it it had to be fake, right?
