Really? Commemorates is spelled incorrectly in the creed. "N" s where "M"s should be. I didn't report it but I was so sure it was fake. Thanks.

I agree that they look like N's too.
I enlarged the picture of the creed and it still appears to say "connemorates."
Note that the seller sold this Korean-made fake and fake packaging.

Should I report it especially if she regularly sells fakes. Where on earth do they find them?
4082 IS a Soho Tote
1- Probably a fake if the serial number was copied correctly but without a creed photo there's no way to prove it. Do NOT bid on it, the style number is wrong and so is the front buckle at least for a supposed Soho bag.
2- fake style number, sloppy construction especially the wrinkled leather on the back near the tops of the side seams
3- fake mix of Willis and Station Bag, fake style number - padded turnlock is wrong, front pocket is too narrow
It's not just the Ns in "connenorates" but there's another N in "liNited" tpo. What I don't like is that the one below was from a month EARLIER and doesn't have those mistakes. The rest of the creed and serial may be okay or a very good copy but I wouldn't buy the bag.

I'm pretty sure some of Coach's hardware was just brass-plated.

Do you mean the tan one? The creed photo that apparently belongs to the tan one has a serial prefix often used in fakes, and has the wrong creed wording and stamping for the date codes. It was also NOT a 1994 style. Fake.
I don't know if you are looking at the right listing - the bag is brown, not tan, and the date code is 1996, not 1994. There are 3 bags in this auction, one is white nylon, one is patchwork, and the last is brown leather. Please check again, thanks.
My mistake but in this case it doesn't matter if the year code was 4 or 6, any 1990s serials beginning with J need to be questioned and looked at carefully. The year code is still too far off from what a genuine bag would use.
Coach DID use that lining in some cosmetic bags, but the creed patch is only sewn on 2 sides, and that style wasn't even introduced until the 1999 Preview catalog.

Coach used a lining similar to that on accessories in the 90's.
