Comment: This listing worries me. The formatting of the creed varies significantly from the items I've verified before. Also the bullseye logo above a creed stamp, not related to this listing. What does that mean? I saw on an eBay listing that it was a factory bag. I saw that on a Willis and I thought Willis was never a factory bag.

I did not check to see if it is calculated shipping but it is showing $24.50 from NC to PA. That is a lot since it is not surcharged. Priority weighing 8 pounds in a 18x12x12 box is $13.31 online.

I checked also. I got the same $24.50 for NC to MA and the same $24.50 from NC to CA.

For cross-country, it's reasonable but for east coast, it's a bit excessive.

The seller also has a small Vera Bradley bag that she charges $15.25 for shipping. That would ship for about 1/2 of that! Her shipping prices are all over the place with some very reasonable and others through the roof.
I checked the price from NC to CA for an oversized box and priority is $32.66 online, standard post is $20.20. I used a Coach box measuring 20 x 16 x 6. For a box measuring 18 x 12 x 12, I got $41.24 priority. These are the USPS prices. I didn't check ebay prices. I know that the boxes that Coach uses are all oversized and I can't ever use them for shipping my ebay stuff since the postage prices are astronomical. They are bigger than you need for one purse, but for 4 purses, I'm sure I'd need a box that big.

The Willis in the listing is authentic. It was made in 1994. Perhaps you've never had a bag from this era authenticated? Coach creeds have varied throughout the years. A bullseye on a creed means a full price bag that was sold at factory.

wow, nice to know. I'm really just looking for a Christmas gift. My GF is always on this site and I know the site has been a resource in authenticating her purchases. She knows I'm looking but to use her account I felt was overkill. Thanks so much for the help and knowledge.

Made in Costa Rica
Found at local GoodWill
Authentic? Year it was made? Color? Not sure if black or navy blue)
One thing that worries me is the J in front (lots of fakes with J) also (see pic) looks like the brass I chipped off and if it is real brass it would not.. Or is it? Maybe I just need some Brasso? Thank you!

Lighting may not be the best!

Also I did not decide to purchase the earlier listing! The seller never got back to me with pics and creed numbers and I wonder if they were real... I saw it went for 51.00 which is cheap! Plus the shipping.. I don't know I might have lost out?! Thank you for your help
