Coach doesn't make any bags in Korea but some clothing and other wearables (scarves, etc.) items have been made there. Many of the fake Coach hats I've seen have bogus tags indicating that they're made in the US.

Hi. I am new to this forum and very happy to have found it. There is great information available here!

I recently came across a bag in which the second set of digits begins with a letter and I have not seen this before in a genuine Coach bag. The number is C1082 F14680. Is it an authentic Coach number?

The number is a correct format for a Coach bag. The F before the style number means it was made for Coach factory stores. I can't tell you if the bag is genuine without seeing pictures of it.

It's authentic and the tag is correct for items of the era (probably early 2000s) of this pouch.

This is Coach's stock image for the cosmetic case. They came in several sizes and colors.

Maybe because the style is about 11 or 12 years old? I don't see any problems with it, and the style number matches Coach's photo.

(ETA - I have to learn to type faster!)

Price tags on older items looked like that. I haven't seen this particular case but I don't see any problems with it. The style number seems correct. I have a smaller one in my records with style number 6987 from 2002. I don't have any pictures of the bottom, but I own a fabric version that has both a Coach imprint on the front and on the bottom.
