Actually Coach DID make a style like that. "Ugly" doesn't necessarily mean Fake. However these two ARE fake since that Hippie Backpack wasn't even made until the year 2000.

I was referring to the ugliness of the quality rather than the style. The leather looks fake and the stitching is dreadful. It just looks like a poorly made, cheap bag, so I'm relieved its not authentic Coach! I think I've seen the style it's supposed to be mimicking and it looks 'eclectic' rather than ugly.

Hi ladies! I'm considering purchasing this Coach Bag (I believe is the vintage Gramercy clutch) from an acquaintance. Could you help me to authenticate it? Thanks!

I've asked a couple of times but no clarification. The bag seams where the top and back meet were off and caught my eye. .. the only reason I looked closely at the Creed. I know there have been fake carriers out there as I've personally seen one. My best guess is that someone got a hold of one of the bean bag key chains and molded that Creed to use in fake bags.
I have a bean bag basic bag. It is identical to the authentic version except that there is a line of stitching at the top of the pocket and the ring on the zipper pull is some base dull silver metal rather than brass. The leather is really nice. If the counterfeiters had gotten the creed right, I don't know if I would have ever figured out it was fake.

Lot's of basic bags have those nickel coated rings...the mystery continues :graucho:

COACH N/W/B$118.00 Mae Canvas Turquoise/Cloud Size 8.5 M

Seller: Bettyhp675
Item number:

I'd like to see the stamped size/style information from the underside of the tongue.

The sneakers are authentic.

hiya!

I'm trying to authenticate this bag before I sell it, the creed number (12966) seems to match a different bag, so I'm suspicious of it!

Thanks for looking!
