hiya!

I'm trying to authenticate this bag before I sell it, the creed number (12966) seems to match a different bag, so I'm suspicious of it!

Here's a link to an ebay auction with the same creed/model number: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Op-Ar...021?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3f26f66aad

Thanks for looking!
Obvious fake! Anytime you see that ugly signature lining, you don't need to look any further to know it is fake.

Welcome to the forum! Kudos to you for checking authenticity before listing.

You SHOULD be suspicious of it.

Sorry, your bag is a complete fake, and a bad one at that. There's NOTHING right about it, not just the serial number. If you can get your money back, do it NOW. Otherwise the only legal thing you can do is destroy it - fakes are counterfeits and US Federal Law makes the selling or trading of counterfeits anywhere in the US a felony.

Where did you buy it, and how long ago? Please supply the URL of the selling site or listing if it's still avaialble.

Well I am no expert for sure but this has so many tells of being fake that it is very suspect to me
including the signature lining and the plastic on the handles and the price tag on a hangtag ball chain.
wait for others to respond but I think NG on this one
Thanks

How do these key chains look? I'm particularly interested in the multicolored hearts. I've compared to photos of authentic ones, but don't really trust myself here. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Some of them are Made For Factory and I haven't seen them before but they all look genuine.

It's a genuine vintage Saddle Bag, style number 9851, from around 1990. Coach re-used the "Saddle Bag" name in the late 1990s for a different style, number 9988, so don't get confused by two styles that have the same name.

I want another opinion on this lot. I think the green one is fake.

I think it might be ok. The Kiwi color was valid for Resort / early spring '98, and that M plant code during that time was bouncing around like a tennis ball at Wimbledon, including months when it was apparently used by both US and Costa Rica plants. The serial stamp matches several others from withinn a few months of that date.

Thanks, it was left in to a charity shop and given to me to list on eBay, so I have no idea as to who the original seller/buyer were, I'll see it's destroyed!

Thanks. I thought the plant code was okay but the font and the thickness of the numbers looked a little suspect.
