Hmm.. how about this one? This court bag looks more like a tan/camel. Does this mean its not British Tan? British tan has a reddish tone to it in real life, right? I can't say I actually saw which was british tan at the Coach store, but I've seen this colour searching online. My laptop monitor is really crappy so I can't even be sure what colour is what!

Those scratches on the front are just scratches right? They will come off with conditioner, but does it look like dry/crackling leather to anyone? I can't be sure with my bad monitor. I tried adjusting the colour but it hasn't helped :\

Since your photos can't be enlarged there's no way fro me to get a closer look at the leather. Post a link to the listing and I'll take another look if the photos allow. Please remember, the forum Rules ask for specific information for authentications.
The bag is only 12 years old so if the leather is cracked, it's been through hard times.

It looks like both the appliques, Fish & Coral, have been removed or covered up. That's a HORRIBLE mess - it looks like something the cat coughed up.
The original bag looked like the first photo below, I DON'T think the modified bag is an improvement, and the seller's description is totally misleading and/or deceptive - second pic:
"it is in very good condition! All items come from a smoke free home. All items are in NEW or like NEW condition, I try very hard to make sure to sell all items without flaws, tears, stains..."
That's a SNAD claim waiting to happen.

Yuck! Yes, the bag is authentic and used to have the fish and coral appliques. It looks like someone might have tried removing them, wrecked the bag in the process and "fixed" it themselves!

It looks like the actual piece of leather used for the front flap might have been defective. The bag has seen a lot of use but it's just that one piece of leather that's showing that odd pattern of colors. You might want to keep looking.

Total fake - the stamps on the backs are too deep, the hangtag is fake, the colors are wrong and so are the shapes of the Cs.
