Hi ladies, can someone please authenticate this bag in the following photos please?

Thanks!

Item: brown court bag

PS, isn't it beautiful? I really REALLY hope it's authentic!

Also, it looks like there are some minor scratches on the front flap and the straps are dirty but nothing else... do you think these minor scratches and dirt on the straps will come out during the bag bath? I am pretty sure it will, but I don't know if the dirt on this bag is considered extreme or not. If it's extremely dirty and may come out from the bag, I am definitely less inclined to take the plunge without some more thought (..yes, I am not thinking clearly or rationally since I've been madly looking for a british tan court bag for the last week)

I don't think the strap is Coach..hardware not right. The darkened areas look like patina to me, which is from oils in hands with use & does not wash off. Some one with a lot more knowledge will have to OK the story patch however!
You're right about the strap. I'm sorry I missed that. It is definitely not a Coach strap.

.....................oh no... :( When will my dream bag finally be attainable!!??! This is heart wrenching! Grr.. Thanks for noticing (along with TBL2)... this makes me so very very sad as I was JUST about to purchase until I read this thread again :(

Hmm.. how about this one? This court bag looks more like a tan/camel. Does this mean its not British Tan? British tan has a reddish tone to it in real life, right? I can't say I actually saw which was british tan at the Coach store, but I've seen this colour searching online. My laptop monitor is really crappy so I can't even be sure what colour is what!

Item: court bag in tan - British tan? :P

Those scratches on the front are just scratches right? They will come off with conditioner, but does it look like dry/crackling leather to anyone? I can't be sure with my bad monitor. I tried adjusting the colour but it hasn't helped :\

Thanks again <3

Hi. I am looking for a vintage Classic City Bag and was wondering if this one is authentic.

Item: COACH Vintage CITY BAG Style: # 9790 Color: British Tan Circa 1989
eBay

Listing number: 161081987230

Seller: joelin

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vintage-CITY-BAG-Style-9790-Color-British-Tan-Circa-1989-/161081987230?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item25813c109e#viTabs_0

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't recommend buying that bag. There's a discrepancy between the country of origin in the creed and the one in the serial number production codes.

The E plant code was an Italy exclusive. Below are 2 photos including the creed and serial number for a GENUINE bag made in Italy in the same month, year and plant as the supposedly made in the US bag you're asking about.

They're fine.

Dear BB:

Jeez I just realized why I have been having such a problem finding more from the Coach
Neoprine Collection...If I had spelled it correctly "NEOPRENE" it would have produced far more fruit-full results.

But mostly I have come back because I slaughtered the spelling on that and well-
Just to say Thx again.
 Bright idea to spell correctly LOL

An older bag (must be pre-1994 according to some guides I've read) with only numbers in the serial number. It looks to be in the correct format, but what do I know, I'm just learning. While I'm not completely interested in the bag based on all the damage, I really want to know if this is real or not to add to my coach knowledge. I noticed the creed also doesn't say what country its made from. From my limited knowledge, this is the first time I've seen this but if this is indeed authentic, then the lack of mentioning a country must be because the bag is older? No idea, please enlighten me - thanks!

Item: court bag
