Bad luck. I'm sure there will be more. I keep finding new styles of Coach that are lovely. I'm totally hooked on vintage Coach now. Could be grounds for divorce!

It's fake. In fact, I think the seller misread the serial number, which probably is 012-3445 and is on Hyacinth's list of fake/invalid serial numbers.

I just got this vintage-looking one today.
It looks like that faded dark navy blue of another Coach tote I had on here.
A few things about it don't comfort me.... The tag reads Coach LEATHERWARE instead of just COACH, which I have never seen before.
And the inside seems to have some spacey wording. It also says 'MADE IN THE USA' under the creed instead of sorta in it.
The base of the bag too seems to be coming apart (see the last pic). It shows the line where the dye did not reach on the side panels of the bag it seems.

Any comments would be appreciated.

It looks fine. The older bags had "Leatherware" on the hangtags. The "Made in the USA" was used for some bags from this era. All bags made before 1994 have the "Made in..." line at the bottom of the creed. This bag was probably made in the late 80's or early 90s,
