It looks like a genuine Chester Bag, style 9901 from around 1993.

The serial number looks wonky with what appears to to attempts at overstamping to give the impression of the serial number being hand-stamped.
And from what I can read, the serial number appears to be 02?2-578.
0212-578 and 1212-578 are on Hyacinth's list.

Definitely fake, all the overstamping lines are straight lines, and the Coach logo at the top of the creed has "Leatherware" in much too big a font. The turnlock looks just a bit "off" too.
Need some help (opinions) on this one. Thanks all.
