Based on her blatant lie to the ASQ, do NOT revise the feedback. The only revision you could do would be to change it to positive and boobacakes does NOT deserve a positive feedback.

What you can do is add a comment to the feedback saying that she relisted without disclosing the paint job. Obviously she didn't learn that honesty pays!

ETA:
I posted before I read ahead and saw that you'd already revised the comment. That's good. You can still add another comment though that might be overkill.

I have to agree with Hyacinth that I wouldn't do business with boobacakes either.
So yesterday I decided to message her about this purse because I saw it was still up. So I messaged her asking if I could possibly get a picture of the inside of the front pocket. :giggles: . Her reply today was that the item was no longer available. I went back and looked an she ended the auction on it.. With no bids! :)

I wonder how many messages she ended up getting? Maybe all those comments finally sunk in.

You're right, that style should have a squared O-ring at each end of the strap. I've looked through the 1996 and 1997 catalogs and neither the Natural Grain nor the Nubuc version #4933 have a strap that's sewn directly onto the bag. There's no physical evidence in the catalogs that Coach changed the strap mountings but it's always possible.

The leather in that listing looks a bit odd though, it's seems thin especially on the strap. And while the creed has a valid plant code for the year AND an outlet stamp, the description of the leather is wrong. My own choice is to pass on bags with details I'm not comfortable with but that doesn't mean I think it's fake.

Interestingly, the other questionable tan one from Snippets #380706100135 that's also missing the hardware at the strap base also has a serial number with the wrong plant code and wrong description, but the other details seem ok. Again, if I'm not comfortable with all the details my choice would be to pass.

The link for the third one is wrong. Should be http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Authentic-Vi...Leather-Bucket-Cross-Body-4907-/141048921953?
I've never seen this strap attachment before. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe it isn't authentic.

The fourth one looks okay. I think the color is most like picture 2.[/QUOTE
Hope I got both Haycinth's and whateve's comments for my thank you's. You both did lots of digging on these. Some listings are so screwed up with conflicting information. No editing or proofreading before submitting a listing it seems. Guess I'll keep looking. Thanks.

The Creed is difficult to make out on my laptop, maybe you will have a better view.

Hello again ladies. Hope you have all been well.

I'm thinking of getting a Willis station bag. These are some I am looking at:

http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/160709366/coach-willis-bag-in-british-tan-9927?ref=col_view

http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/160728232/coach-willis-bag-in-british-tan?ref=col_view

http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1309...ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=coach+station+bag

http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/151662186/authentic-vintage-coach-station-bag-long?ref=col_view

Some do not have an adjustable strap. Is this common with the Station bag?
Also, why the different numbers: 5130 and 9927?

Any help would be appreciated and thank you!

Hi can you authenticate these 2 purses please?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bro...463?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item461276313f

seller id: modpropshop
item number: 300957446463

http://www.ebay.com/itm/190832702118?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

seller id: contentinpa
item num. 190832702118

Both of these bags have springlocks. In another post this bag number 2 ( different auction) was id'd as a 9886, yet the strap is affixed differently, the 9886 has a concealed keeper underneath the flap that is hidden, for the strap to be attached and detached. In bag 2 the strap is attached to the sides.

I own this bag http://www.ebay.com/itm/350854655989?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 and it is identical to num 2 above and it looks like a bigger version of the court bag and I don't think it's style 9886.

Funny, i did the same! I wonder if others did as well?

Boobacake thought bubble:"WOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE IS SO MUCH INTEREST ON THIS BAG,...so weird....hmmm"

The reason they are different style numbers is that the Willis and the Station bag are two different styles. The first two are Willis bags 9927 and are authentic. The next two I don't feel comfortable with. The font on the creed numbers doesn't look familiar to me. The last one is an authentic station bag 5130. Station bags don't have adjustable straps. The Station bag is a little smaller than the Willis. It doesn't have the dowel at the top and it doesn't have a back slip pocket.
