I just got my bag in the mail, I asked about the authenticity last week or so when I was bidding, but now having it in person, I feel more questions. It doesn't feel as HEAVY as my other Coach 2 bags, could just be the style, though. It definitely feels sturdy. I have wanted a signature stripe tote in the berry/purpley color for a while. Help me authenticate? Please and thank you. :)

Wow. Fake zipper pull, looks like fake rivets, barely-readable serial with what looks like an invalid prefix D46-, etc. If you have one for comparison you've probably spotted even more problems. More opinions are welcome, I've never really studied that style.

The first is a genuine Regina Bag. The second seems ok but I don't know the style.

BTW, photos of the stamp on the zipper aren't necessary. It's better to take a photo of the entire top of the bag showing the zipper and the strap mountings, all the way to just past the ends of the bag.

I have several for comparison and there's nothing right about it...not even the size!

I'm having a very interesting process with Ebay on this one. They won't tell me to send or not send it. They said to open a case, wait 3 days, escalate the case, then they will tell me to destroy it. Talk about going to China to get to Mexico

While it's not my area of expertise for authenticating this bag (if you want to call it that), I'm pretty good at searching!! I found this post:

Hyacinth, for all that you do for so many of us, you get a free pass anytime! :smile1:

And maybe a new pair of glasses to go along with that free pass! :D

That's a new one on me. But follow their instructions, it's probably easier than messing around with sending it back.

Hi There,

Saw someone posted the Dakota purses and it is gorgeous:loveeyes:
I went to search around Ebay to see it and came across this listing, and it doesn't has shows where it was made it. Can you please let me know whether this is authentic? Also, based on the description, seems like this is the Lariat, is that right? Does this range not shows where it is made from?

Thanks for your help again!

I am not an authenticator so ..... Please wait for expert opinions.........but I strongly suspect that purse is not authentic. I question the creed, exterior back of bag, front flap detail and the way the welt seam is joined. .....and we haven't even seen the interior :thinkin:
