I Purchased A Coach Key Fob From A Local Community Group, And Just Wanted To Make Sure It Was Authentic Before I Starting Using It.

Saw someone posted the Dakota purses and it is gorgeous
I went to search around Ebay to see it and came across this listing, and it doesn't has shows where it was made it. Can you please let me know whether this is authentic? Also, based on the description, seems like this is the Lariat, is that right? Does this range not shows where it is made from?

I am not an authenticator so ..... Please wait for expert opinions.........but I strongly suspect that purse is not authentic. I question the creed, exterior back of bag, front flap detail and the way the welt seam is joined. .....and we haven't even seen the interior
The creed IS wrong. Not only isn't it the right creed for a Sheridan or Dakota, but "marXings" may be mis-spelled. If it was a Dakota that style also wouldn't have had a dark tan inside pocket with a stamp, it would have had a separate creed patch sewn into a pigskin pocket. A Sheridan would have had a dark tan patch sewn into a fabric pocket.
And although the style is copied from the Dakotas, the leather grain is the kind used in Sheridans. Please report.
Seller JUDE309 has been mentioned here before for selling fakes and not authenticating their items correctly. DO NOT BUY from this seller!

I doubt very much if it's genuine. Not only are J8*- serial prefixes often found in fakes, but this style wasn't released until Fall 1999, so it's not very likely that this one would have been made in September 1998.
Those Hippie styles were faked a LOT.
I just got my bag in the mail, I asked about the authenticity last week or so when I was bidding, but now having it in person, I feel more questions. It doesn't feel as HEAVY as my other Coach 2 bags, could just be the style, though. It definitely feels sturdy. I have wanted a signature stripe tote in the berry/purpley color for a while. Help me authenticate? Please and thank you.

Wait for someone more familiar with it to take a look. But remember, it was made for the Factory Stores so if your others were from the full-price boutiques it's not surprising that this one wouldn't feel as heavy.

If the seller doesn't know if it's genuine, SHE CAN"T LIST IT. Those are Ebay's rules.
And though the creed patch is unreadable, I'm not liking what I can see of it. The plastic on the straps is a HUGE red flag and the bag is fake. PLEASE REPORT.
And DO NOT BUY FROM SELLER csy690 - also never buy from a seller who doesn't show a clear readable photo of the creed patch and serial number.
