It's a Monterey Hobo from the Lightweight line that a year later became the Sohos. That's why the buckles look like the ones on the Fletcher and other Soho bags. Style number 4027, early 1990s.

Thanks so much for solving another mystery for me...I'm beginning to think the person in charge of pricing Coach bags at my local Goodwill heard that "if it isn't made in China, it's fake" BS story...I'm finding lots and lots of good ol' beauties for cheap. Keep 'em coming! Thanks, again!

Comments: So I am not sure if this will be hard/impossible without the tag but everything points to authentic (stitching, design, etc.). I need a Cashin expert! This will probaly end up being too big for me anyway :). I saw this same plaid stitching on the tote called "the first tote".

The patchwork bag from redsinkilts is fake. Please report.

The other two are authentic.

ETA: Actually, I will now recommend against doing business with redsinkilts because in looking through my reports, I see that I reported the seller in January for fake Coach. And one of the seller's other listings is for a fake Dooney.

Thanks so much, the listing has already been removed. Again thank ya'll for the endless hours that ya'll spend helping us out.

Hi, I found this at the thrifts for $20. I liked the blue color of the bag and its shape. Can anyone ID it? Thanks!

Genuine. It MIGHT be a Lewiston Bag from the early 90s but we'd need measurements to be sure, the Lewiston measured 9 1/2 x 7 x 3 inches.

Please try to post measurements when asking about older all-leather bags.

We authenticated this on July 15.

Please put something in your posts to identify the bag, like the serial number. When you ask the same question with each bag and there's no way to tell one post from another, how is anyone here supposed to know if one of the other authenticators looked at it already? And if YOU can't figure out which of your posts have already been answered, how are we supposed to?

ETA - I also mentioned the same problem to you on the 15th:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-818914-183.html#post24985910

"Sorry, we had a lot of requests during that time period, and it was hard to keep track of which ones we'd already replied to.

It's always a big help if posters either use the full format required in Post # 1, or do as you did in that post and add a description and the color and serial number of the bag. Better yet, if asking for several authentications at the same time, put two or three requests in each post so we don't have such a large number to work though at the same time."

I'd also suggest doing the sensible thing and putting a note inside each bag with the date it was authenticated and the bag's name.

Oh wow. I went back through all my posts and didn't see it. Sorry about that. Like I said, I don't want to create extra work for everyone.

I'll have to figure out what I can add to each one to differentiate them. Thanks, Hyacinth.

Thanks, Hyacinth. After searching again, I found it myself.

Does tPF have a smiley for egg-on-your-face?
