Hyacinth. ... can't find our conversation on this but the rambler came and is stunning! Here is the newer one next to my NYC one. .. their measurements are identical down to their strap lengths. The newer one is shaved a little thinner but actually hangs better that way!

They both look great - and is that a Musette right above them?

LOVE that huge front pocket on the Ramblers! Both styles are just such classic Coach looks. :girlsigh:

I won't authenticate it for you BUT it's a gorgeous and somewhat rare small shoulder bag #9530 and one of my favorites!

Yep, Coach just called it a "Small Shoulder Bag" and it's from the 1980s. Here's one of their catalog pics from 1983. It's definitely genuine.

Why yes it is. ..I currently have 5 if you're in need ... and a couple of carriers and a swag

Love the Musette but the strap is just too short. :crybaby:

The bigger bags are so practical, but since I retired I just don't need all that room inside. That double pocket front is super practical though, it's nice to have pockets big enough for keys and phone and sunnies - or driving glasses, for us old grannies!

Just curious about this one. It looks like a cross between Sonoma and Ergo. The seller got the style number wrong.

I've never seen it before but the style number looks like it could be -4395. There was at least one other Ergo Nubuc Hobo made during the same period with number -4394 so this is probably a size variant. I've also seen a few others that are only described in my files as a Nubuc Zip Bag and a Mini Hobo, styles 4398 and 4399, pics below. It probably wouldn't have been considered a Sonoma but the actual name of the line is still a mystery - maybe just Ergo Nubuc? They were probably introduced right around or after the time the Sonomas were being discontinued - maybe to help Coach get rid of all that striped fabric! :graucho:

I don't have my own photos, but I recently bought this one - style number 4936, looks like is one of the "Sonoma/Ergos" - beautiful green bag.

No, VERY fake. I've never seen a genuine bag with one of those B1N- prefixes. AFAIK "N" was only used for Mexico, the stamp on the flap is crooked and too far from the bottom edge, the creed stamping doesn't look right, and I don't think the Lexington styles were even made in 2001. They're another line that seems to have been faked a lot.
