That's a very highly-faked style and there are several problems with this one including the creed patch. DON'T bid!

We NEVER recommend that anyone ever buy one of these Gallery Totes - almost every #1443 you'll ever find for sale will be fake. And 95 percent of the fakes are much more accurate than this one. Not only is the creed stamped off-center but the sides of the patch aren't straight and the stitching is sloppy. In fact the details of the bag itself are noticeably "off" from the genuine version, if you can find a real one to compare it to. Luckily I did manage to find pics of a real one several years ago, along with a really close fake creed.

From the top - bad fake, close fake, genuine.
Do not buy from suzyjuicy!! Not only does the seller sell fakes (completed listings too, including another sale of the same fake gallery tote), but she steals other sellers' watermarked pictures.

suzyjuicy sold this listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-B...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The watermark belongs to this seller:

The seller seems to have already sold the fake Coach gallery tote here:

Hello ladies I have a quick couple of questions for you. Can you log into this site on two different devices. I usually browse the site from my ipad but I have photos stored on my laptop I would like to submit. I stay logged in on this (ipad) device but am not logged in on the laptop and I seem to have forgotten my "I will never forget this" password.
Thanks for your help.

I think you're asking whether you can be logged in at the same time on different devices.

If that's the question, yet, I stay logged in on my iPhone (though I don't know how to post pictures and links) and I read and answer in text. But I'm also always logged in on my laptop at the same time.

Thanks, I am trying to log in on the laptop but I have forgotten my darn password. I tried to reset the pw but the verification page you need to submit comes up blank . I am afraid if I logout on this device I will never get back in. But thanks for your info

There's no way to authenticate a listing where the seller shows just one picture and that picture isn't even the seller's own picture of the item. It's illegal (copyright infringement) to steal pictures from Coach (in this case) or from other sellers.

There's no way to know what you'll receive.

We never recommend buying from sellers who don't show their own pictures of items and show enough pictures that we can authenticate the item.

Hello Ladies, I finally figured out my password, woo hoo!
I've been collecting Coach handbags at flea mkts and tag sales and such for years.
I went thru my collection and found I have 6 bags that might be considered vintage. All the bags bear the NYC, USA origin stamp. I was wondering if someone might be able to help me identify what the names or styles of these bags are. In the collection picture I think the two in the top right are Cashin bags, but the one I really wonder about follows.

The last pictures are a Twin Clutch, style 9380. The one in the lower left corner of the first pic is a Crescent Bag style 9235. While Bonnie Cashin may have had a hand in the deign, neither of them was made during her time at Coach. I doubt if many, or any, vintage Coaches with stamped creeds would have actually been made in the Cashin Era, which ended in 1974, before we have any solid evidence of stamped creeds.

We'll need more pictures AND measurements of the others, we need to see the arrangement of the strap fastenings and get an idea of where all the pockets are. You can post them at the main Coach forum under the ID thread if you're absolutely sure they're genuine.

The one top right looks like a skinny tote 9546 if it is about 13 by 11. We need to see more details and measurements of the other three to identify since there are a lot of bags that look like those.

Wow thank you so much. I will take some more photos. You ladies really rock. Do you know when the company stopped using the NYC USA country of origin?

So netlawyer, for educational purposes, is this one genuine or fake? http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Briti...124?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item51af23c1b4

IMO, it's fake. The stitching around the zipper isn't rounded, the zipper stop isn't present, and the plant code is a straight line.

The plant code is trying to be a capital "i", which was ONLY used for Turkey.

Spot on. I saw that one earlier and posted it to the Hall of Shame. I think this one is also highly questionable, but I am not sure I would report without a photo of the creed. Interested in others thoughts as to whether simply citing a zipper detail will satisfy VeRO: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...980-Shoulder-Cross-Body-Handbag-/271230403372

I believe this one likely authentic, but would wait for another opinion:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...her-Shoulder-Cross-Body-Handbag-/161068053961

This one also looks good, but I would want a clear photo of the creed:

Some time in early 1988.

That's been verified by comparing creeds to Coach's catalogs - there are a few badly-researched "guides" on the 'net and at Ebay that say 1970s but they're completely wrong about that and almost every other date in their guides.
