We need more than that to be certain, please read post 1 of this thread. But I doubt very much that Coach would make a bag with crooked fabric, just look at the stitching along the top of the bag and see how crooked the Cs are. And the fabric isn't even centered correctly.

If you want it authenticated, post more photos or a link to wherever the bag is being sold. If you just want advice - if you bought it, get your money back. If you didn't buy it yet, DON'T. If you're planning on selling it, DON'T.

Got it yesterday at Goodwill for next to nothing...
Approx. 9.5"w X 10.5"h X 4"d drop 10"
Is it a Penelope Optic Signature Lunch Tote #F15436? MFF?
Do you know the year?
I have NO experience with younger bags, but seen ones similar on ebay & bonanza with same style number...thanks in advance!

It is a Colebrooke Brief from 1995. It is not really a purse, it is a briefcase. The color is British Tan. Please make sure it is big enough for whatever you want to carry.

Thank you. The person selling it wouldn't give me anymore pics, because supposedly her camera was missing, which made me even more skeptical.

And not only does the seller have experienced authenticators blocked from seeing her listings - which is something that LISTIA SHOULD NOT BE DOING IF THEY WANT TO BEEN SEEN AS A SAFE PLACE TO BUY, SELL OR TRADE - but the seller - that's YOU, STACYAMY - keeps insisiting she bought it from a legit seller AND THEN HAS THE NERVE TO COPY FROM MY OWN EBAY GUIDE ABOUT SERIAL NUMBERS !!! Too bad she didn't bother to read the rest of the Guides.

I was going by what my cousin said she had bought it and gave me the receipt was going by what she said
