Comments: The bag looks genuine to me but I would also appreciate hearing your opinion about authenticity, thank you.

I have seen this bag referred to as "legacy" several times, do you know if it was released in 2006 for the 65th Anniversary Sale? It doesn't have the striped lining and I know that Coach uses the term "Legacy" to describe a lot of different bags - so I was wondering which legacy group this bag came from? Thanks again!

It's genuine and was called a Legacy Straw Tote. It was made at the end of 2005, so while it may have been part of the Spring 2006 line it doesn't have any Legacy lining. Very few bags do, even the ones made in the years (2006-07) when Coach actually introduced that lining. The name Legacy has been used on well over 100 different bags going back as early as 1994 and very few have any connection with each other.

It could be a Legacy Crescent from the early 2000s, and it seems genuine but we'd still need to see a photo of the cerred and serial number to be sure.

Now I've seen the photos too, and I agree. Fake as a 3 dollar bill. Why do people think that Coach employees don't know how to punctuate, space and especially SPELL?

And not only does the seller have experienced authenticators blocked from seeing her listings - which is something that LISTIA SHOULD NOT BE DOING IF THEY WANT TO BEEN SEEN AS A SAFE PLACE TO BUY, SELL OR TRADE - but the seller - that's YOU, STACYAMY - keeps insisiting she bought it from a legit seller AND THEN HAS THE NERVE TO COPY FROM MY OWN EBAY GUIDE ABOUT SERIAL NUMBERS !!! Too bad she didn't bother to read the rest of the Guides.

That's a highly-faked style and unfortunately you got one of the fakes. Contact the seller and insist on a full refund. Keychains should always be authenticated, especially the metal ones.

Just for starters - the Coach logo on the back doesn't use Coach's trademarked font, the Cs on the front of the Heart charm are also the wrong shape and are NOT Coach's distinctive Cs that are used on their Signature bags, the colors are too red, the stones in the open heart should be pink, the hangtag is NOT the kind Coach uses, and there are too many links in the chain.

ALWAYS examine the shapes of the Cs and the letters in the Coach logos. Here's the real one:

I just received my full refund for this item. I do have a question that might seem silly: Do I leave nuetral or negative feedback? This seller never responded to my email, just refunded my money. I guess I feel bad for leaving a negative because they have only a few feedbacks and all are positive but don't want other people to fall in the same trap. It is also kind of my fault for not getting it checked first. I kinda want to hear what other people have done when you got a fake from ebay.
