The information in the other listing from " zemmiasdiscoveries " isn't right. It's NOT vintage since it was just made in 1999 and it has NOTHING to do with Bonnie Cashin who had been gone from Coach for 25 years when that bag was made. The serial number in the other seller's bag isn't clear but a part of the creed statement is and that creed wording was only used after 1994, so the nonsense about it having been bought at
Nordies in the 70's is complete BS. The ONLY style it can be is the 1999 tote. It may
look banged-up up enough to have been made 40 years ago but it wasn't.
The retro Pillow Ticking Stripe linings were only made for a very few bags in 1999 called Greenwich Bags and AFAIK only included a Tote style 6135 and a Satchel 6137 (I've never seen any 6136 but it's possible). The lining is a copy of one that Coach had used for small accessories like cosmetic bags back in the 1980s, and that they brought back a few years ago for another retro Cashin graphics line. So yours is genuine, and definitely rare (I've never even found it in a catalog so it must have been made for only a short time) but not vintage or Cashin. And I've never found the exact name so "Greenwich Tote" is the best I can come up with.
