Good Morning! Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
Approx. 9.5" w x 6 h x 2" d. Strap drop 21.5"
Bought this for my MIL in around 2005 at a consignment store. Don't think she ever used it. She has downsized and returned it to me! YAY!
Pocket on back and under flap on front...Wonky old serial number.
Do you know her name, approx. birthdate, any other info?
Thanks in advance, as always!
Can someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
Approx. 9"w x 5"h x 2"d. Strap drop 22"
This is another bag from my MIL's downsizing...again, never used since around 2005 I'd guess.
I believe this is a Dinky Bag #9375, as I also have this bag in bone.
Any idea of age and color. Was Camel an option in this era? She's lighter than BT.
All info is much appreciated. TIA!
It looks fine.I had said I would post a pic of the creed of this bag when it arrived... http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-763164-306.html#post24182208
the bag just came in the mail and here is a pic of the creed. Thanks!!!

1. I can't see the front of the Willis well enough to tell for sure. I would like to see a closer picture of the turnlock area. It is probably okay. This was made in China in 2005 so the leather is going to be thinner than the older vintage bags.Hello everyone.
I have two bags I have my eye on. Can you please help me? Thank you!

No, never. It is one rule that has yet to be broken. On top of that, the Korean bags always seem to have an invalid number of digits. Note also that "Coach" and "bag" are run-on. Sorry, it isn't authentic.Somebody anybody please tell me that at least some bags are actually made in Korea

Yes, it's a Dinky Bag probably mid-1980s. The color looks like Putty.
New with tags should mean there are no flaws. If there are flaws, the seller needs to disclose this. Re-ticketed can mean a customer return or just that the tag was lost in the store and they created a new one. I would ask the seller if there are any flaws and mention the spots you are worried about. It sounds like the seller is cooperative. Whenever you buy something without being able to inspect it in person, there is always the risk that there will be scratches or marks. This could happen even if you had ordered it directly from Coach.I don't know if this needs to be in the eBay forum and I apologize if it is but I really wanted Coach experts to look into this - one more time - knowing what I know now. Last night, I requested the below bag to be checked out for authenticity. The seller listed it as New With Tags and BeenBurned said it looked good...so I immediately bought it and paid for it. But something BeenBurned said about one of the other sellers stuck in my mind - that sellers sometimes use stock photos on their listings.
So I re-checked all her photos including her OTHER listings. On mine the photos were original, but at closer inspection, her photos showed NO TAG except a fuzzy white blob in one pic and no dustbag or box despite the NWT listing. BUT on some of her really high end bags, she used more than one stock photos in her listings.
I contacted her right away about this and she responded -
This bag is new but has the department store (Macy's ) reticketed tag. Dust bag is not included. Please let me know if you want to cancel.
Thanks.

So is this really a new bag? I'm not sure what a "re-ticketed bag" is. Is it a customer return? If so is it still a New With Tags bag? The seller seems willing to work with me but I just need another objective opinion on whether this looks good enought to be considered NWT. I apologize for re-posting this but I was so excited to get it at this price I got carried away.
Now at close inspection, the bottom of the bag may have a scuff? mark on the left side. There is a little white spot in the back right pleat which may be a loose thread? or the re-ticketed tag? The bag looks good but the quality of the photos is not the best on all the shots.

I know the decision is ultimately mine but I'm asking for a more clear-headed opinion. Should I ask the seller for better pics of the bag, a pic of the re-ticket tag, and re-affirm that the bag is flawless, not a customer return, without shopwear - or just save myself the hassle and cancel it? Part of being carried away was that "Isabelle" happens to be my name too.
