I have one more if you don't mind. :)

Serial number 8D17

Please note my correction in POST #750 on the West End Hair Calf Medium Hobo. It was made in 2000 NOT 2003 as I originally stated.

The brown one is NOT authentic. Coach never has used that shiny yellow lining in any bag. Also, the creed is a mess. The creeds on your authentic bags have a Prefix BEFORE the style number and that one doesn't. It's just a bad counterfeit.

Thank you for the correction. I thought that it was a fake, but worth a shot. Can't win them all.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

good day Hyacinth! regarding Jessi319's taft bag:

http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-694619-791.html#post22241741

months ago, i received a "taft" bag from a powerseller. mine also has the questionable extra crescent of metal on the silver-toned zipper pull. the grommets are also silver-toned. may i know your thoughts on this one please?

Thank You once again for your time Hyacinth! =)

Fake, sorry. The silver strap grommets aren't neccessarily wrong but the silver-colored zipper pull is. The wording and formatting of the creed patch is wrong for a bag supposedly made in a major US plant at the end of 1996, and the Coach logo at the top is also years out of date. The serial number stamp is all from a single-piece stamping die instead of a changeable stamp like the ones Coach used. Below are 2 creeds made in the B and D plants, both open as long as the C plant and both from a month or two BEFORE the supposed date on your bag. Compare the creed wording and layout.

The first one's already gone.

The second one is fake - wrong turnlock, all the leather trim is wrong including the extended turnlock tab and the strap. and the side pockets should have buckles, not zipper pulls. Here's the real 13208:

AND WAIT, THERE"S MORE:
fake wallets, both styles fake;

This one's genuine - a Copley Bag from the Madison line made in 1995, hard to find and a very expensive bag when it was new. The price in 1995 was $376 US which adjusted for inflation is equivalent to $567 in today's US dollars, or 23,686 PHP.
