I was wondering if you ladies have ever seen fake ID lanyards before? I am trolling ebay for a cheap one since I just got a new job that is very high security and requires me to wear my new ID card clearly visible at all times. I just want to know if I should be careful and get the ones I'm watching checked out or if I should be okay?
I have a PCE and would have preferred to just go buy new, but I don't think Coach makes the lanyards anymore because I can't find them on the website!

Hi ladies! I just won this bid - earlier I had contacted the seller for a pic of the creed or at least the wording and serial# but haven't heard back yet so I went for it. If possible, could you authenticate it with what is given before I pay? It does seem to match the ones I googled. Thanks so much!

My guess is that although they aren't highly faked because the demand isn't high enough to warrant it, I wouldn't discount that they probably are faked.

It's probably a good idea to verify authenticity before buying.

Hi,
Is it possible for the first letter of the creed serial number to be upside down and be an authentic bag, or should I automatically assume it's not real? I saw a bag at goodwill that said made in Hungary, but the first letter was an upside-down G then the number 8 and then the letter U, then the purse style number but I didn't get it, 'cos of the upside down letter

And that one from arlenesbag has a fake outlet bullet.

It actually looks as if it may have three outlet bullets. Look above it, there's at least one and probably two more bullets there. The faintest looks like the outside ring is uneven, unless I'm imagining a stamp where there's just some leather markings. The others are just above and to the left of the prominent one.

This may show all three(?)

Don't think I've seen an upside-down letter before but that doesn't mean it didn't happen, especially in one of the plants outside the US. If someone stamped a letter upside down the Quality Control person may not have wanted to discard a completed bag just for a wonky serial number. But that's just speculation.

Sorry, there just aren't enough photos. You'll have to just cross your fingers and hope.

Hyacinth, I'd asked you privately about this one when I found it. The bag is made in Hungary and the upside-down letter is G. It's funny because this bag and the one latetotheparty is asking about are made exactly a year apart, same month and plant, though.

Regarding that bag, your answer was "The last one from Hungary was probably just a stamping mistake."

Defective digit in the month column of their serial stamp maybe? I've given up trying to figure out some of those mistakes.

Comments: Going to the new Coach Outlet Monday in Livermore and see what they have. However, this caught my eye....

Thank you kindly,

These look fine. When you go to the outlet, you will probably see these or similar ones there.
