Please authenticate. I thought this was authentic until ebay removed the listing. Is this called an equestrian bag? It is about 12 x 9. Thanks!

The bag pictured is an Equestrian Shopper (or Equestrian Flap Shopper).

Why was it removed??? Surely nobody reported it as fake!

Thanks, I thought it was authentic and there was a picture of the creed in the listing. I don't know why it was removed but I suspect it was because the seller was new and also had some LV listed. It has been nerve-wracking waiting for it to arrive.

I just wanted to post an enormous THANK YOU to our fabulous authenticators who have helped us all through the years! I enjoy reading your posts, seeing the pictures, deciphering the fakes, and using your expertise....
My husband bought me a fabulous purse (non-coach) for Christmas this year just as "something different" as he put it....and I do love it...and wanted to purchase a wallet to go with it from the same label. I found a wallet and tried and tried to get an "authentication" from another sub-forum of the purse forum...and never rec'd a response! I have checked back daily (since December 26th) and realized today that NOBODY has rec'd an answer to their queries on that site.
I am, once again, so incredibly thankful to our lovely, knowledgeable authenticators who take the time to make sure questions are answered in such a timely manner!!!!
Love to you all!
I've posted only a couple of times (I'm a return Coach lover, bought my first in 1989, currently rehabbing those and finding other vintage to rehab) but I so appreciate the time and knowledge the authenticators give. Thank you!

Comments:
Is this authentic?

Looks totally fake!

That's exactly what I thought but she's such a high rated seller with so much feedback that I couldn't believe it!!
Unfortunately, many buyers get fakes because they trust that a "top rated seller" would never sell a fake. In this case, the seller's feedback is built on selling coins and belt buckles. The seller probably has no clue about handbags.

This listing is fake.

good day.. pls authenticate.. this is color pink by the way.. tnx

Comments: TIA!

Again, no creed photo. But the strap buckles and leather grain on the straps in the third photo just don't look right to me - those aren't Coach buckles. That double Logo patch wasn't on the final production versions, only on the early website photos. I'm almost positive that one's fake.

Here are 2 Coach photos for style 11495, the first is almost identical to the final production version, the second one is earlier and invalid and wasn't made in that configuration. Of course it's always possible that an outlet version may have been made with different patches so please wait for more opinions.

Compare it to this listing, which seems genuine - the base of the bag should be Sig C fabric, not solid leather:

I don't see any red flags on the swingpack.

The bag is fake as is the wallet mnmidstokke also has listed. Note that the fake wallet was reported and moved on December 25 and she has relisted it.

Please report both.

ETA: Another pattern problem is on the center front of the bag. On both the actual marketed version as well as the invalid version, the patch to the left of the ocelot patch (center front) is supposed to be lurex. On the seller's fake, it's khaki signature jacquard fabric.

Here's a listing for an authentic listing for the same style bag:

I wanted to add this update to my post about the patchwork tote.

Although the bag in question was definitely fake (style 11495), there is a similar style bag with a jacquard patch (not lurex) in the center of the front.

From what I'm finding, 11495 is the full-priced version of the style and 12843 is the MFF version. The boutique bag has a lurex patch and the MFF bag has jacquard. But neither style has the lozenge logo patch in the upper right.

Item: Red Zip Wallet
Seller: Savers $5.25
Dimensions: 5.25” wide, 3.75” tall, and 0.75” deep (when zipped)

Comments: I picked up this cute red wallet that has mattress ticking lining and YKK zippers. Please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you. If you have any ideas about approximate date, name, or style, that information would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I heard back from the seller. Apparently he had sold an LV that the buyer claimed was counterfeit so they removed all his listings for designer items.

Do you know anything about the leather on this bag? It is so smooth. It seems more elegant that my other bags from the 90's.
