Again, the fake boxes are rectangular, 2-tone and 2-piece. I didn't say that Coach didn't make any boxes for keychains and small items, just that they didn't make boxes that met that specific description. I'm surprised that the box from Macy's had a sticker with the information for that keychain

Stores like Dillard's and Nordie's can also use 2-piece gift boxes but those are usually for a specific keychain like last year's Legacy Penguin from Dillard's shown below, and the keychain style number usually ends in the letter B to show that it's a boxed item.

I think Whateve is referring to these boxed items but they aren't two-pc. white with brown trim:

Your bag is authentic.

In the future, if you need bags authenticated, you shouldn't mention "selling" it. It's considered to be advertising and is often frowned on by the mods.

We're happy to look at bags you want to purchase from online sites or from thrift shops. Also, it's a better idea to authenticate online purchases before you bid/buy.

Your bag is authentic. I hope you realize that having purchased from the outlet, it's going to be genuine.

Hi, I purchased this from an ebay seller about a week ago... with the receipt all scratched out I can't see much of it. It is frowned upon to get a second opinion before I sell a bag? Guess I'd rather not rip somebody off.

No, you misunderstood.

Instead of mentioning selling, post the listing you purchased from as shown in post #1 of the thread. You can also post the photobucket link to your own additional pictures.

That way, we can see the seller's listing, her pictures and her other items and history. It gives us a lot more information to evaluate a listing.

Once you find out the item you purchased is authentic, you're welcome to do whatever you'd like with it, including selling. :smile1:

Gotcha! Would be nice if the seller only marked out the price instead of everything when they provide a receipt lol. I couldn't tell what the items were she purchased. Anyway, Thanks for your help and advice for future posts :)

I haven't seen those before for the newer styles but rememember that Coach made some individually boxed keychains a few years back. Did they just make the recent boxes for a few styles like the Polar Bear? They must have been made for the holiday buying season.

I'm not sure of all the fobs that included boxes but some are:
polar bear (above), mink raccoon - 61894, mink bear - 61913, mink reindeer - 62724

Thanks, I remember that one of the department stores had the Legacy Stripe Watering Can 93137 available in a gift box but I think that may have been one of the Legacy Stripe boxes like last year's Penguin. The Legacy Stripe Mitten KF was available boxed too. I hadn't seen the plain white boxes before.

The one I got in the plain white box is the yellow fur chick #93122. I got it at the outlet. They usually remove the tags and put them on racks before they sell them. I picked one off the rack. I think the SA was using the box to get the style number and she asked me if I wanted the one in the box.

I wonder if they put the furry ones in individual boxes for shipping to keep the fur from being matted.

Comments: Did they ever use the E code for a US factory? My earliest Italian bag is from December 1995. Thanks!

Fake. The stitiching all over is really bad, take a look at all the close-up photos. The "pillow" on the leather turnlock tab is the wrong shape, the stitching on the strap looks too light, and the E code was only used for Italy.
