I agree that it looks good.

My only concern (and it may be nothing) is that I've never seen a bag sold in the same month it was made in. It's hard to imagine that they could get it made (in China), exported to US, sold to a reseller and resold in the same month.

Is this a concern to anyone else?

Your bag was made in November, 2008.

This link gives information on how to read serial numbers:

In that link, she doesn't discuss the month code (first letter) portion of the serial number. (It's somewhere but I can't find it in my quick search.)

The first letter of the prefix indicates the month of manufacture.
A = January
B = February
C = March
etc.

Except in rare instances, I isn't used as a month code because it's too easily confused with 1. Therefore J = September.

I think the month code is H, not M.

I missed the original listing. (It was removed before I saw the post.) I found a cache of the listing and just wanted to comment that the seahorse lanyard IS authentic, style 92303.
