My other find from today...this one was $12. I think it's a Basic Bag? And I'm guessing it's older due to the Made in New York City on the creed?
DemRam said:You're correct, it's a Basic Bag/Zippered Clutch. That style has been around for a long time, though I'm not sure we know the exact years Coach used the glued in serial numbers. I think possibly the later 1970's or maybe early 1980's, but I base that on nothing but a guess.

Sweet! Thank you! Can't believe it's in such great shape! Any ideas on the age?
DemRam said:According to the Cashin Foundation, she left Coach in 1975 and went to Meyers. It also says she officially retired in 1985.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if she was with Meyers when she retired or how long she was with them.
Good deal on 2 great bags.

I'm hoping my instincts were right. I found this at our local antique mall with a tag that said, "brown leather shoulder bag - $15". When I opened the kiss lock I almost fell over. Is this a legit Bonnie Cashin for Meyers? (i know, non- Coach, but wasn't sure where else to post!)
Let me know if you need more photos. Thank you!

I have a bag with a glued in serial number that came with a 1980 catalogue. The front of the catalog says 8005, which might stand for May 1980 or the 5th catalog of 1980, and the factory brochure says "in the almost 40 years since it was established", which is why I am pretty sure it was made in 1980.You're correct, it's a Basic Bag/Zippered Clutch. Comments: is this an authentic COACH tote
Hi,
I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me if this is genuine. The creed is worn so I've taken 2 pictures of it. It reads L4B-4935.
Thank you!
Genuine. It's a Sonoma Flap Bag Nubuc from 1994.
I recently scooped this bag at a great bargain! Can anyone help me authenticate it? Height- 6" approx and Width- 9 1/2 approx. I'd also like to know the name of the model, too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
