It's genuine. Refer anyone questioning authenticity because of the numbers to the Salearea Guide on Authenticity Guides, the section about serial numbers:

Was wondering if I could get the following two bags (circled in red) authenticated. I am just awaiting some more photos, hopefully larger, pictures from the seller but didn't know if they were identifiable by just the creed and style.

Any associated names or style numbers (maybes are nice too!) would be great. Thanks for any info.

The creeds seem ok but we can't authenticate the bags without more photos and measurements. So far there don't seem to be any red flags.

Item: 1995 Stewardess
Thrift store find for 8 dollars.

everything seemed great until I got it home and really looked at the inside. It seems like the bottom inside is like a glued in piece of suede.(I assume to cover where the feet attach through the bottom leather.) Also the flaw on the underside of one of the strap grommets is a red flag to me. Sorry the picture of the patch is not that clear. So hard to get a focused picture of a patch that isn't on a pocket you can pull out. The number is G5B-9525. It says made in the United States within the paragraph.

I can't see any major problems, the mistake with the grommet could have happened during production. As for the base, did you try comparing it to other Stewardess bags from the same time period that are listed on Ebay? Since I don't own one for comparison, that's what you may want to do next. The ones I see that seem genuine all have the suede covering on the inside base. There's even a seller with one fake and one real, with different base linings.

Comments: this seller has a lot of scarves listed. The paper tag on this one doesn't look like any I've ever seen.

I can't help with the scarf.

As for the coin purse - there's no problem with "a little crooked". I've said it before, Coaches aren't perfect. And that's especially true with small relatively inexpensive items like Mini Skinnies, coin purses, etc.

Sometimes you can't, and neither can I. It may come down to the placement of a stamping or a seam, and when there's no "reference" copy of a bag that's known to be genuine in the same style made in the same plant, month and year it's almost impossible to be 100 percent sure either way unless some other mistake points to "fake".

The best I can do with this one is "probably genuine", but I can't be 100 percent sure. There are 2 small differences between it and bags made at other plants that are slightly different so that's all I can do, sorry.
Thank you so much Hyacinth.
I just started my interests with the old style coach not too long.
At first it seems like it's not too complicated to authenticate.
But then there's a lot of exceptions in any rules.
But I found it's so challenging.
I read from your previous posts and learned a lot from that.
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge to others.
