I would appreciate help authenticating a purchase I made last week.
Hoping I got it for a steal at under $12.
I have the link to the auction that ended on ebay:

The bag is in excellent used condition; no scuffs or marks; I'm not sure how it is supposed to feel, its smooth , not pebbly, but I don't know what coach leather feels like; it doesn't smell like leather - there is no smell; the piping edge around the bottom and top overlap where they end and the stitching at those points are overlapping and seems to be cutting into the leather; drops of water soaks into the leather instead of immediately running off, the water dries quickly when dabbed with a cotton cloth (few minutes or less); the zipper has a "4" on it instead of ykk; the zipper ring has what looks like bits of glue on it and has some scratches; the seams inside of the bag have glue under the stitching that you can see when you pull them up; the creed has the bullet mark.

It's a genuine Mambo Hobo from 1998.

Is this fake? . Someone gave it to my DD and there is no inside leather patch. :thinkin: I don't have any more Coach bags to compare it to. I've taken pics but let me know if I need more. Thanks so much!! The strap is pleather.....:p.
