Hello Hyacinth and other authenticators. I'm sorry, but I have several requests. I found a couple of items that I'm really interested in on ebay. The first one, the seller was accused once of selling a pair of knock off shoes and since he/she doesn't do much if any Coach selling, I wanted this item confirmed. The second item is really an oddball item to me. I haven't been into vintage long enough to ever have seen one of these before if it is real. Thank you!

#1 Appears to be an authentic Prairie Bag from 1995.

#2 I've seen that lining on maybe 2 bags in my life. I have NO idea if it's authentic and it definitely should NOT be reported. Without more information, I can't be positive and I don't know who the manufacturer would be.

Wait for other opinions!

Hello...this is the first time I bought a bag off Ebay and really am new to Coach. I did a search on this site and didn't find a match so hopefully I am not duplicating this request :) It is for a small Coach back pack in great condition. It was hard to take a good pic since the pocket with creed doesn't fold out...Thanks for your help in authenticating this bag!

Item: Vintage COACH Black Leather Back Pack
Listing number:121003715178
Seller: emarieg24

Comments: I have better pics of creed, but can't seem to get them attached to this...
No H9Z-9960?

I see no red flags. It appears to be an authentic Day Pack from 1999.

I found this on ebay and don't know quite what to think of it. Since I have a Made in NYC Stewardess bag that is quite different then this, it peaked my interest. Is this really a special bag made for United Airlines, not sold in stores? It seems to be more the size of a Patricia and seems to have an id patch under the flap?

Thanks!

It's genuine, I've seen several of them. There was an identical one that was sold to the Coach archive in NYC just recently. United specified several changes on the bag. I think there was at least one other airline that also bought Stewardess Bags from Coach.

Sorry, I'm not a Cashin expert. But it's possible that bag is a Cashin style made for some company other than Coach, which is why the lining isn't familiar. I can't imagine anyone 40 years ago creating a fake Cashin logo lining, and Cashin designed for a half dozen other companies in addition to Coach.

If the serial ends in -9960 it's a genuine Daypack from 1999.

Hi again. Sorry, here are my other items. I have 3 items and got them almost all at once, that is why I'm putting them on here at once. I have two identical(except for color) Bleeker Totes? and what I call a saddle bag style of purse. I've tried to shrink the pictures down but don't know if I'm going to be successful. The saddle bag will be in next post. Don't worry, I'm learning the vintage stuff, I'm just not real secure in my judgement yet.

Both Bleecker Satchels look ok.

(Edited, because a Zip isn't a Satchel)

Good point. There's at least one other 11622 listed under Completeds with the same small screws on the zipper pull turnlock

I don't know enough about recent styles to say if that's a problem or if the factory just used a different turnlock for a short time. Maybe one of our posters more experienced with newer bags can take a look.

Delayed response but, they have the zipper tab turned backwards, with the back part of the turnlock showing. I have two Bridgits, I noticed after reading this post the other day that one was turned backwards like that. Easy to do, I'm not sure I would have even noticed if I hadn't seen this.

Hi,
I have a strange bag with no creed. Just a logo inside. It does have a Coach tag, however.
Can someone tell me if this is an authentic bag?
If you need more pictures, please let me know.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have one more bag I'd appreciate being authenticated.

As always, thanks so much for your time.

Anybody know the name / style number of this bag and any indication to when it was manufactured?

Measures approximately 12" x 7" x 3". There's a pocket under the flap and a zip pocket on the interior. No slip pocket on the back, though.

Thanks for any info!
