All the issues you mentioned should be more than enough to prove your case - that and the simple fact that Coach has no records of making any genuine bags with Bean Bag creeds. You also have genuine bags to compare it to. And vintage Coaches would ONLY have used solid brass hardware - you'll NEVER see a genuine vintage Coach zipper and zipper pull that look like that.

The underscore and shape of the "o" in the "No" before the serial number isn't right either.
Thank you. I knew the ring on the zipper was wrong but I thought that maybe it had been replaced.

Good news! The seller just got back to me with an apology. She realized that this wasn't the purse she bought at Coach, but one of her mother's. She found the one she meant to sell and is sending it to me, so I am thrilled!

That's great news! Did she ask you to return the fake?

This is a bag I recently picked up. I have been wanting a Ramblers for awhile, so I really hope it's the real deal.

She's about 9.5" wide at the base, about 7.5" tall, strap is about 48" long. I tried to get decent pics of the creed, but I think my camera is about to buy the farm, because it is taking really poor quality pictures lately, no matter what setting I use. No misspellings in the creed, and it indicates the bag was made in Costa Rica.

It's real - made in 1999.

That's good. You can always save the strap if it's in good condition.
Yes, I think I'll use the strap for my Madison Sutton satchel because it is doubtful I will ever find a Madison strap. I figure no one will notice that it doesn't match since it is the thin double strap. The brass on the strap doesn't show any tarnishing at all.

Comments: I'm just not very familiar with factory store items. This however is one of the few examples where I prefer the factory item over the FP item (which I also have)

There's no way to authenticate anything from that listing since the seller stole Coach's stock photos. Please ask them to either post or send you photos of the actual bag you're buying including photos of the creed patch, serial number and the inside of the price tag with all the color and production codes. We never recommend buying from sellers who don't take their own photos.

My girlfriend's is in current need of a new wallet. She hinted it very obviously. So here I am trying to find a decent priced wallet because I am trying to save up to buy a house as well so any discount I would be happy to take. Saw this wallet on ebay (she loves pink) so it looking good however would like assurance that this is authentic before making the purchase. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. If any more photos are required for authentication please let me know asap so I can ask the seller. Thanks in advance.
