Hi!

Here's a wonderful treasure I just found at Goodwill. It's in near pristine condition. The two of the bottom corners were a little worn.

The creed has the No. 001-3925 (xxx-xxxx) format and the numbers were stamped with the rotating numbers stamp (they're a little crooked). The creed has "MADE IN THE UNITED STATES" instead of the “Made in New York City, U.S.A." stamp.

Let's see if I did my homework correctly! :D

Thanks!!

Creed: No. 001-3925

It's probably ok but we'd need measurements and pics of both front & back, a 3/4 view of one of the sides, and a longer shot of the inside showing the inside pocket side to side to identify it.

This is my first post here, so I hope I'm doing this right!

I made an eBay purchase that I thought was a good deal, but after some investigating I think I bought 3 Coach fakes. The link to the expired listing is here:

If you need more info or photos, I have the bags in my possession.

Thanks for your help!

Item: VINTAGE COACH LOT OF 3 PURSES NICE LOOK!!
Listing number: 140852480095
Seller: groves3891
Link: see above
Comments: see above

The brown one is definitely fake, it has an invalid serial number. The other two look like they're supposed to be the same style but I'm seeing small differences. It even looks as if the two darker bags are slightly different sizes. We need to see clear READABLE photos of the other 2 creed stamps, plus a side photo of all three bags showing the top half of the side of the bags. If the seller's copying of the serial numbers in the listing is accurate, ALL THREE are fake. NONE of those serial numbers is valid. HPF-9927,BIN-9927 and TEF-9927 would never have been used by Coach.

But even if just one bag is fake, the listing was a violation of Ebay rules and the seller has to issue a full refund. If the seller refuses or if she wants you to send the fakes back, start a Dispute and notify Ebay that all three bags are fake.

Both front and back are identical. As you look at the purse and see the inside pocket I assume is front.

About 13" x 8" x 4", with sides tapering up to 3".

The bag is sort of shiny due to having just Apple-ing it.

Would you happen to know the name of it? All I can come up with is simply "Shoulder Bag".

Thanks!

It's called a Swagger, style number 9820, and was probably made some time around 1989.
